Alvin's career began in 1978 out of a warehouse in Southeast Houston. He has built his business by the values of making sure that every client is always taken care of completely.
Today, his beautiful studio is housed in an 8,200 square foot building in the Town & Country area, which has been showcased in several photographic magazines such as The Texas Professional Photographer, and more notable magazines, The Rangefinder and The Professional Photographer.

Alvin moved his studio to the Hobby Airport for some amazing pictures of my retirement flight and reception. The photos have amazing quality despite not having the ability to control the environment. He photographed in the rain and coordinated with airport authorities to obtain security clearances to find the perfect position to capture my final moments of my 41 year career. He then transitioned quickly to the gate to record many family moments as we deplaned the aircraft into the lobby. The live pictures he recorded of my family and friends will last a lifetime.

Alvin is very patient, friendly and professional. He helped us figure out what we wanted for our photo shoot, helped us decide on our wardrobe and made everything super easy. His assistant, Maritza, is wonderful too. She helped us select our favorites as well as helped us pick out the frame that accented our portrait perfectly. Our family really enjoyed the photo session, the session when we selected our favorites and the reveal of our final completed portrait. I recently had portraits taken for my business and I couldn't be happier with the results! Alvin takes the time to connect with each person so he can really capture and showcase all of your best qualities, even if you don't always see them yourself. I can only give Alvin Gee Photography the highest of praises! I am an actor/dancer and I needed new headshots and dance shots to build my website. I am beyond pleased with how everything turned out! Alvin was so attentive to my ideas and flexible to change if something wasn't working. The session was alot of fun and Alvin gave me the freedom to play around, resulting in some fantastic shots! Alvin Gee was our parent's photographer since the 1980's. My husband and I used him as our wedding photographer back in 1982. He had many ideas which contained many photo memories of our special day. I have framed portraits on walls of my house.
When my Dad passed away and we had to downsize my parent's house. Large family portraits were distributed to my siblings and me. Alvin Gee is the ultimate professional. He begins by asking what kind of photos that you would like to ensure that you are not disappointed. His studio is beautiful and all the members of his staff are friendly and helpful. Once you begin the photo shoot, he puts you at ease with his calm and reassuring demeanor. He pays attention to details like the position of your hands or flyaway hairs. What's most amazing though is the results! He's able to capture who you really are.
