Monster Lawn Hydroseeding & Landscaping is a family-owned, locally operated business in Devils Lake, ND that was born in 2002. What started as a side-hustle to earn extra money, expanded to the point we are today: one of the largest erosion control contractors in the state. Owner, Chris Kurtz began offering hydro-seeding and landscaping services, with the help of a high school student.
The operation quickly expanded to include a small division in the Fargo residential market. We were the first hydro-seeding company in North Dakota, and the process was not widely known at the time! It didn't take long for it to catch on, which has allowed us steady and continued growth! In 2004, our operations expanded beyond residential work, to include state, federal and municipal work on state highways and county roads.

Made arrangements to do complete landscaping and plants around our entire lake home. We were not available to be there when the work was being done. Brenda said trust them they will do an awesome job and if not they will redo it to our liking. So we blindly let them do it to the way they thought it would look best…. We were NOT disappointed!! They did a fantastic job and we were more that 100% satisfied!! Highly recommended!!!!!

So disappointing. I asked for dirt and rock. Got dirt only. Repeatedly reached out. No response. Charged over $850 to level an area 16x10 ish. Damaged my split rail. Just wanted the rock on top of the dirt. You can't drive or walk on it with out sinking in. Never finished the job as far as I'm concerned. The timbers in the Pic were mine. They didn't bring them. Charging min of 6 hours labor for an hour of work... Ughhhh. So, so disappointing.
Well they finally reached out. I still have no gravel. Now they want more money, and charge a delivery fee!!!! Wow. 1st Pic is what I received. 2nd Pic is
