Services
All teachers hold a bachelor of science and/or an associates degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and all aides are fully licensed by the state of Pennsylvania. B.S. Degree in Elementary / Early Childhood Education from Bloomsburg University. Prior to opening the Children's Academic Learning Center 35 years ago, Mrs. Procaccino taught Kindergarten and is a mother of two.
Every year since 1985 the Children's Academic Learning Center has been visited by some very special green friends. This clip from a local news station shows how our students use skills such as problem solving and creativity to try to catch a leprechaun! Our curriculum includes a variety of different areas of focus including Social Studies, Visual Arts, Science, Handwriting and more.
The child must be three years of age or older. Exceptions can be made if the child is toilet trained. The Classroom is designed to encourage learning through play, exploration and fun. Curriculum learning begins through the use of developmentally appropriate curriculum, materials and tools. We begin to introduce daily classroom routines with calendar, weather, learning, computer introduction, arts & crafts, stories, songs, puppets, and dance!
