Social Security Disability (SSD) is a benefit that many people need to survive, but it is also notoriously hard to get. Many people make the mistake of trying to acquire these benefits on their own, but success is much more likely with help from an attorney who knows the disability application and appeal process and the law, and who has built relationships with the government agencies and employees who handle disability claims and award benefits.
After filing my application for SSI or SSDI benefits, how long will it take to get a decision?. Generally, it takes about three to five months to get a decision. However, the exact time depends on how long it takes to get your medical records and any other evidence needed to make a decision. About three to five months.
Recovering from a personal injury can cost you considerable amounts of time, money and energy. Unfortunately, many injury victims settle for compensation amounts that are far less than they deserve, leaving them to pay the rest of the costs of their injuries. While pursuing a settlement on your own rarely yields the best possible outcome, an experienced attorney can make a considerable improvement in that outcome.

It was extremely difficult to find representation for a social security disability repayment case. Not only did Attorney Bainbridge Testa take my case, his work was top quality. The judge even commented on how impressed he was, it's not customary to see an attorney put so much time into a disability repayment case. Dealing with Social Security was a very lengthy and painful experience. I couldn't be happier with the results....no overpayment!!! Thank you a million times Attorney Bainbridge Testa!!!

Outside of Atty Testa’s professionalism and demeanor, he was such a “nice guy”. Very genuine, listened intently, paid attention, made me feel comfortable when i couldn’t recall dates and events ( partly because of my condition).
He was never pompous or dismissive.. He Truly knew Law in the capacity that I needed it! I noticed that when we attended a hearing, his first priority was to ensure that I fully understood everything that would transpire, occasionally laughing or smiling to make light (in a kind way), of a silly thing that was making me nervous, or that I didn’t fully understand
