Services
AmySue Taylor Co, L.P.A. was founded in 1993. In addition to being a lawyer, AmySue is a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Science degree. AmySue began her career as a registered nurse, specializing in critical care. Following law school, and influenced by her Obstetrician-father, she signed on with Ohio's largest medical malpractice insurance defense firm where she refined her skills of evaluation, negotiation and litigation.
Whether you are reaching the latter stages of your life or have a family member who recently died, it can be anxiety-provoking to confront death and issues like what will happen to your property and wealth after you are gone. Trusts and estates lawyer AmySue Taylor understands the sensitivity of these situations.
A trust is a fiduciary arrangement that allows a third party, or trustee, to hold assets on behalf of a beneficiary or beneficiaries. Trusts can be arranged in many ways and can specify exactly how and when the assets pass to beneficiaries. Since trusts never have to go through probate, your beneficiaries may gain access to these assets more quickly than they might to assets that are transferred using a will.
A legal guardian is a person who has the legal authority to care for the personal and property interests of another person. Ohio laws state that the parents of a minor are the legal guardians of that child. However, the laws also state that the parents can designate who will become the child's legal guardian in the event of their deaths.
While any legal procedure can be stressful, probate and estate administration tends to be exceptionally difficult for clients. However, our experience and competence can provide ease and comfort during this challenging time. At The Law Firm of AmySue Taylor, we have administered numerous estates, of varying complexity.

I really enjoyed Mrs. Taylor’s services, she responded back timely every time even though busy, she worked diligently on my behalf as if she cared even tracking down vital information that my previous lawyer had missed. She fights hard for the little people and I recommend her to anybody that wants their voice heard. Thankyou!
