Paul McGlone has over 20 years of experience practicing law in Fairfax County, Virginia, and provides expert legal advice in each of his practice areas. If you are found guilty of a DUI or DWI, it will go on your criminal record. The maximum fine for a first or second offense is $2,500 and you could be sentenced to time in jail.
Virginia DUI or DWI allegation is not something to take lightly. Even a first time offense carries severe consequences, such as incarceration and a fine up to $2,500, and a 12 month suspension of license (restricted license may be granted, but will require the use of an Ignition Interlock for at least six months).
New Reckless Law|Reckless Speeding|Reckless General| and Many other Types of Reckless Driving under Virginia Law. Previously, this was "anything over 80 mph is reckless" in addition to anything 20 MPH above the limit. This new law still charges anything 20 over, so the change mostly only matters in zones of 65 mph and higher.

With Covid it was a real challenge to get a court date secured with Fairfax County. It was rescheduled a number of times. However, the McGlone law firm stayed in touch with me every step of the way for my reckless ticket charge. It may not sound like a lot to some, but to me it meant employment issues along with the other unpleasantness that goes along with it.. If you take your driving privilege as seriously as I do, you need someone who has been in this space for more than a few decades. They are well know and respected by judge's and prosecutors as well as law enforcement.

After a reckless driving speeding ticket charge in Virginia, I had called several law firms in the area to include McGlone law firm. Paul was fantastic. I was fortunate enough to have my case dismissed so naturally I am happy. But that is not the whole reason. First Pauls's firm reached out to me as do a lot of people when your arrested but what stuck out was that he included my arrest report. This showed me he took that extra step to provide me with information.
Even his assistant David was amazing with planning and providing information. Even calming me when I called several times on my court date. He seemed ahead of the game all the time and was so nice to my family when they were with him during court.

First off, let me say that I selected Paul to represent my son based on AVVO ratings and a personal consult. My teenage son got a VERY high speed reckless driving charge on the Dulles toll road. Even though he professed his innocence, I knew it would be difficult to convince the court. Every other lawyer (3-4??) I spoke with said that jail time would be inevitable.
