However, that is not the case with Crossoak Family Dentistry. For our office it's a way of life. We've been the Kalamazoo and Allegan County "Cater to Cowards" guys since 1982.

Our office offers many modern amenities including computerized records, intraoral cameras, digital x-rays, laser cavity detection, nitrous oxide (relaxing gas), and iPods with stereo headphones in treatment rooms.

LOVE dr Rowland most amazing dentist I’ve ever been to. However Lisa the billing lady is extremely rude I’ve never experienced such rude unprofessional treatment in my life. I called to give my insurance information to verify they had it I was trying to explain I have a credit counselor that takes care of my bills and was making sure she had permission to call and pay my balance. She proceeded to cut me off and say I will not call a bank to have your bill paid. I told her if she didn’t cut me off she would know I was just trying to make sure my bank lady has permission to call and make payments

Dr. Rowland is very caring about his patients and several times during the appointment stops and asks if you are ok. No pain at all during the fillings and extraction. Friendly staff and I like the discount they give for paying the day of the appointment. That helps when you don't have Dental insurance!

A bit disappointed. Went for cleaning and was advised to remove old fillings and replace with new stuff.
After 40+ years never had any issues with my teeth
After going here and following their recommendations and having new stuff replacing my old fillings I have had more sensitivity in my teeth and now I have actually lost a filling they did.
Also yes I owe a bill but I specifically said do not go over what my insurance allotted as I didn’t have the extra money at the time. And since I couldn’t cover the extra they state they can not fix the hole from losing what they put in.

Crossoak Family Dentistry is such a wonderful place. My husband and I had been to several different dentists over a 4 year period. We were growing tired of dealing with poor experiences and found Crossoak. The team treated my family with dignity and respect. They are such a happy group and very kind! I highly recommend this office!

I highly recommend this dentist. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and wonderful with kids. My grandkids love going to the dentist and can't wait to go back!. I was taking them to a pediatric dentist in Kalamazoo who was going to send my grandson to the hospital for oral surgery which was going to cost almost $2000 out of pocket, but the kid's doctor recommended Dr. Rowland and I am so glad he did!!! Come to find out, my grandson didn't need the surgery. Dr. Rowland was able to remove the bad teeth and not only saved me from spending a lot of money I didn't have, but saved

Dr. Rowland's sign says, "caters to cowards" and it's absolutely true. While I don't fear the dentist specifically, I have a very strong fear of needles, which makes simple dentistry like getting a filling a terrifying prospect for me. Dr. Rowland and his staff could not be more accommodating and kind to the fearful visitor like me.
