We provide PT, OT, and Speech Therapy services to adults. Because MMPT has four locations and over 30 therapists, there is almost always a therapist who can specifically and expertly handle the problem at hand. Our pediatric clients not only get thorough evaluations in PT, OT, and ST, but they are further provided with home exercise programs to begin on day one of treatment.
The siblings and parents are involved in therapy, and encouraged to learn how to best handle the child at home, be it behaviorally, motorically, or from a sensory standpoint. At MMPT, we strive to get as much specialization in a variety of areas as possible. We feel that this not only sets us apart as very good therapists, but also gives our patients choices when it comes to a specialist in their particular area of disability.

MMPT provides PT, OT, and Speech Therapy services to adults. In the adult arena, the services range from orthopedic issues (total joint replacements, ankle sprains, back and neck pain) to sports injuries (rotator cuff repair, ACL rehab, etal) to neurological rehabilitation (stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis.)
MMPT was founded in 1995, and the initial reason for its being was the considerable need for pediatric therapy in northeast Louisiana. Literally thousands of patients have now been a part of the MMPT family, and it was Melanie's dream to build a community of inclusion and acceptance among children of all abilities, having been very close to a young man with spastic cerebral palsy while growing up.

This program was established for patients who have been discharged from PT or OT and have need for an ongoing, maintenance-type program.

Actual physical therapist has been good, but huge pain in the butt to schedule an appointment because they're so busy and can never seem to get an appointment at recommended day (always ends up being week+ later because schedule is packed). They don't send any kind of appointment reminder which has been a killer for me, a busy mom of two young kids. I don't feel like they care about us at all. I missed an appointment and figured it out on my own a week later. I don't know if they ever would have called to follow up (doubt it). Very unhappy...hoping there's another place we can get a referral to

I love going to this place the staff are wonderful and caring fun to be around. I just love the way they motivate you that you can do it all things is possible if you just put your mind to it. This is what there motto is to me " We are not here to hurt you we are here to help you 😍❤ ". When you are there you see the kids doing therapy and you will tell yourself I can do my assignment to. If you can't do it at the time are something just let the therapy teacher know they will find something else easier for you to do.
