I took my car there for service to install a complete steering rack. I will say they performed the service in two days. Chris is a good person, BUT his employee was NOT. When I picked up the car there was a binding noise, and a loose strut mount. Chris tightened the strut mount, informed me that the binding noise was most likely from the car being on the lift and hanging when the rack was installed, and that I should drive the car and see if it corrects itself. I drove it for the weekend with the binding noise. It did NOT go away. I called Monday morning, and got one of his employees on the phone

Was taking my car to BMW dealer and on my way saw European car. Stopped by and within 30 mins Chris fixed my leaking tire due to a nail. Very honest, reasonable and qualified. I found my car caretaker from now on. Came to know BMW does not believe in tire rotation and dealers dont even do it.

My dad taught me plenty of lessons, none that he drove home harder than making sure you have a good local mechanic you can trust.
I can't say enough good things about Chris and his team. He recommends the repairs and maintenance that I need, but also tells me what's ok to skip on the manufacturer's recommended schedule.

Over 25 years, excellent care for our 9 vehicles and over 1.6 million miles they've carried us. This place is awesome. I brought my x5 in for repair and, not only did they repair it, but walked me through the process. The car was ready the same day.
They were reasonable in price.

The owner Chris is a wealth of knowledge with Mercedes, their work there is second to none and any and all work you have done there will be less than half the cost of a Mercedes/BMW/Audi dealership. STOP GETTING SCREWED @ THE DEALER and call European Car Service for anything from an oil change to an engine rebuild!

These guys are amazing. The knock on Mercedes and Audis are that they are really expensive to maintain, but European Car Service does a better job than any dealership I've tried. I've had Volkswagens and Mercedes serviced here for years, and have nothing but positive experiences.
Chris won me over for life when recommending I pass on OEM brake pads and instead get dust-free replacements. My wheels have never looked so good. It's the little things like this that keep you loving your car for years and years.

After having a terrible experience with Meineke where I was told of a laundry list of problems all of which would be exorbitantly priced I learned about European Car Service from a friend. And boy am I glad that I did. After having my car checked out by Chris he was able to give me a short list of his recommendations in order of their relative urgency.

We have an older BMW X5 that has been repaired and receives regular maintenance here. Where other repair shops tried to guess at what was going on with the car, this shop really knows foreign cars and; therefore, everything is an easy fix. They are trustworthy and competent. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.

Always good service without repeat return trips for anything missed. My wife has her Porche serviced here & won't let anyone else service her car. I find the work top notch. Crew has well trained background, knowledgeable, courteous & have been there a long time. The car is done right when you pick it up. They try to fit in emergency situations within a day or 2, but their schedule is filled a month ahead. No wonder they are always busy!

He came in about 15 minutes and said you are all set. He did not even charge me. I even had him once check an old car that I was interested in buying. A good mechanic is hard to find, and a great one near impossible. I spent years searching for someone I could trust to work on my cars and ended up bouncing between a series of over-priced wrench turners whose work was limited to "what the computer told them." European Cars was recommended to me by a former colleague who had both his ancient BMW and subsequent new model serviced there. He lives in Natick, but thought it was worth the drive to Northborough and I couldn't agree more.

I had been taking my 2004 BMW 325xi to Wagner in Shrewsbury and it had been costing me a fortune. I got lost trying to find a back way home one day and drove past European Car Service. I stopped in and wanted to make an appointment to have my oil service and I had a short in the tail lights. Chris opened the trunk and immediately fixed the tail light and didn't even charge me. I later had a CV boot break, and the last time this happened, Wagner charged me $800. Chris charged me $300 for the same thing, and I didn't have to wait three weeks for an appointment. Have been going here for years, the owner Chris is great, any time I have a problem or question or think something is wrong he looks at it no charge, very reliable, very honest, Chris has built a very loyal customer base. Very busy all the time and relatively small shop so call to make appointment. This is the mechanic you are looking for.
