Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Steve is the third generation of the Kohl family and has been a licensed mortician since 1987. He is a partner of Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory with his brother, John Kohl.
At Parker Kohl Funeral Home, we want to make arrangements simple for you. We offer a large variety of containers and traditional caskets designed to meet your specifications but we'll be happy to go over them with you and answer any questions you may have. I think the most memorable thing for us was how caring and compassionate they were. We have been blessed and this was our first time having to do all of the planning. Steve made us feel like we were the only family they were dealing with. They don't rush you, they answer all of your questions and give great advice. In a time when the world seems to be falling apart, they graciously hold your hand and make you feel like it will all be ok. Truly angels on earth.....

If you want to make your wishes for your own or a loved one’s funeral happen the way you want, ParkerKohl is the right place to consider. I have been working with John to prepay and plan my own service and help with planning my husband’s service too.
He has helped me make decisions that are right for me and my husband, and in the long run for our child because they won’t be saddled with making those decisions later during a very emotional time.
All my questions were answered, all my qualms were relieved. This has been on my “to do” list for a while. I am SO glad I decided to check this

We lost our 2 & 1/2 year old weimaraner Mia very unexpectedly. The staff at Parker Kohl was so compassionate in our time of grief. We had our Mia's ashes back the very next day in a beautiful, engraved wooden box, along with a clay pawprint and information on coping with her loss. They even took the time to wash her blankets that we had dropped her off in. If you are dealing with the loss of your fur baby, I highly recommend using Parker Kohls services.

Parker Kohl we can’t thank you enough for the above and beyond job you guys did with our dad Bob Ozmun. Not only did you fulfill any request we had you went well above and beyond to make sure he was honored and given the perfect wake and funeral. You put a very personal touch to both. Those 2 days were so hard on all of us but we can’t thank you all enough for how smooth it went. You guys truly accommodated everything. You guys have genuine respect for the deceased and compassion for the family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Parker Kohl did a wonderful job of helping us to honor the life of our son, Kaden. They were very easy to work with and went the extra mile helping us to find pieces for the visitation and memorial service that were just the right fit for our son. They helped us decide what services we needed and coordinated with out of state entities. The facility is large and spacious as well as beautiful and helped us keep our friends and family safe while observing social distancing and mask wearing guidelines. From the moment we contacted John he was kind, gracious, and very helpful. We would highly recommend

Parker Kohl made it easy to pre-plan, make final arrangements, and honor our mother. They were extremely accommodating and safe during this pandemic. It was so easy to upload photos for the slideshow and wonderful to be able to share the service on social media for people who were unable to attend. Everyone at PK was so comforting and easy to work with, which made our difficult time less stressful. Our community is very lucky to have such a great group of people to help during difficult times.

I used Parker Kohl for their private pet cremation service. If you love your pet like a family member like we do you will appreciate the quality care they get from PK. They will pick your pet up and treat them with the same dignity and respect given to humans when they pass. It was a comfort to know our beloved companion would not be mass cremated or frozen beforehand etc... We had her urn the very next day and they even list pet obituaries on their website. I will use them again in the future and cannot recommend this service enough.

We had to put our black lab down Monday and we used Parker and Kohl to cremate her so we could bring her home. They treated us amazing. They were very professional but also personable. They got us to laugh through lots of tears as our dog had been with us for half Our life’s and they understood what it was like to lose a furry companion. As we pick up our girl to bring her home they gave us an engraved earn and a clay paw print to always remember her by. thank you to the team at Parker kohl for such a great experience through such difficult time for our family.
