My early work with teens, veterans and individuals suffering from anxiety and depression motivated me to complete my master's degree at Portland State Unversity in 1986. For 20 years I have worked at Umpqua Counseling P.C., a long established and highly respected counseling service located in Roseburg Oregon.

My approach to treatment is practical and problem-centered, to assist my clients towards solutions using a brief therapy model. I believe that people entering treatment have the personal resiliency to recover from their distress and to handle life's circumstances if given the proper skills, guidance and encouragement.
