Our expert team of highly motivated and experienced attorneys regularly go to court to obtain the best results possible for our clients in both civil and criminal law. Our firm is driven by results and there's a reason we're right across the street from the courthouse. Client was struck head-on by drunk driver who was already on probation for a previous DUI.

We go to trial. Insurance companies know the difference between lawyers who buy a bunch of ads and lawyers who go to court. Trial lawyers get better results. Even as a small law firm, we at Rush & Frisco Law quickly proved we had the skill, relentless passion, and commitment to deliver results for our clients in the greater Gainesville area. Rush & Frisco Law certainly has a legacy of excellence in litigation, but our legacy is also one of relentless passion for our clients.
We're proud of the strong relationships we've built with our clients and each other in Gainesville and surrounding areas. His first job as a lawyer was at the Eighth Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office, where he built a reputation for trying cases. Mr. Rush went in to private practice in 1987 and opened his own office a year later in a small shared rental space.
As the law changes, so must the lawyers. Nuances of the law can become the focus of cases. Clients who need criminal representation need a lawyer who has argued the law on a search warrant, fought a probable cause determination, and knows the evidence code. Civil lawyers need to be current on local court rules, sharp on discovery deadlines, and keen to evaluate the risk before investing their client's time and money in costly litigation.
The three-story law office building of Rush & Frisco Law is the only remaining house in the historic downtown Gainesville area. Built in 1895, it served as a private residence upstairs, with the resident's law office downstairs. Robert Rush bought the building in 2003 after it lay vacant for years, halfway burned down and a broken eyesore surrounded by chain link - home to bats and pigeons.
Client was struck head-on by drunk driver who was already on probation for a previous DUI. Suit filed on Federal Tort Claims Act for wrongful death. Client died after being restrained with hard ambulatory restraints for a prolonged period of time in a federal prison in West Virginia. Sometimes when people look for a professional, they think they can talk to someone who is caring OR one who does a good job. With this law firm, you get both.

This is one of the best law firms in Florida. Steve Frisco is a wonderful person and a fantastic lawyer. You would be hard pressed to find someone who knows more about the law and how to defend clients. He is empathetic, professional, dedicated, and the best person to have by your side if you have to go to court.

Seriously, if you need a criminal defense law firm, this one is the best.
