I graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2013 with a degree in Business Marketing. After moving back to Tulsa, I took a position as the assistant director for an elderly community in Broken Arrow, Ok. My first son was born in 2015. I had his newborn photos done by the cheapest photographer I found.

Once I received my cd of images I was devastated with the results which started my interest in newborn photography. I wanted to prevent other mothers from making the same mistake I had already done. I never saw myself as an artist but passion and love for my children pushed me into creativity. I love seeing each parent's face as I present them with their gallery of portraits for the first time.

Newborn Report

The ideal age for newborn photography a session is between 5-14 days. When babies are this new they spend a lot of time sleeping, even more so in the morning hours. During this time most babies will still curl into the squishiest of poses. Around two weeks old most babies go through a growth spurt.

Maternity Report

I suggest scheduling your maternity photo session between the sixth or eighth month of pregnancy. Your belly will have a nice round shape during this time frame, perfect for taking photographs. Usually swelling and feeling totally uncomfortable hits around 35 weeks for most women so try to avoid that time.

Child Report

Documenting your child's development from the small milestones in their first year to the yearly birthdays is important! I have so much fun photographing your families grow from belly to newborn and beyond. As with my newborn and maternity sessions I have all the props and outfits your child will need for their session.

Pricing for any session includes a pre session consult via phone, a session prep instructions, Slide show of images and gallery premier ordering session where you pick the images that you love and choose the products that best fit your needs. Each session is completely customized for each client. We will discuss your style as well as color preferences that will work best inside your home via phone or email consult prior to the session.

I used Janel for a mini session and absolutely loved how the pictures turned out! She is so easy to do business with and she also gives good advice to do with your little ones before the photo session so that the pictures turn out great. Highly recommended!

She did great when I took my 2 and 6 year old to her for a mini session! She was able to get great photos even with them wiggling and even gave them a snack! She has tons of patience with small kids which is a plus. She is highly recommended!! Check her out!!
