Founded by Senior Grand Master K.H. Park in 1990 in Naperville, PMAA is an official Kukkiwon Certified TaeKwonDo & Martial Arts academy. We are an authentic martial arts family deeply rooted in the Tenets of TaeKwonDo, Student Creed, Children's Home Rules, and Character Building such as discipline, focus, confidence, respect, and integrity driven philosophy.
PMAA is fully backed by Senior Grand Master Park and Master Director Park, and together they have been in practice for over 80 years combined. PARK's Martial Arts Academy - PMAA (formerly known as World Martial Arts Institute) was founded in 1990 by Senior Grand Master K.H. Park, Kukkiwon Certified 9th Dan Black Belt. Through the 26 years PMAA has strived to promote a positive and family oriented culture. When you join PMAA you not only get the best training available, but you become part of our family.
Martial arts is a way of life, of learning how to excel and bring out the best in yourself. Its only been couple of months, but we love this place! My twin girls love coming here! They not only teach the moves and traditional taekwando, but also overall help build the students characters as well. Its a great place for kids to build their focus, confidence and positive demeanor!

All three of my kids started at Park's Martial Arts Academy six months ago. I can not say enough great things about the staff, families, and facility. Respect for yourself and others is an important tenet that is demonstrated and expected. There is a strong sense of community and family feel to everything they teach. I am so happy to have found Master Jenny and Park's Martial Arts!

Parks Martial Arts Academy is an awesome place for young children, teenagers, and yes, even full on adults to come and better themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. I highly recommend to staff and masters at PMAA. My son has been going here for over a year and has grown in his ability TaeKwonDo but just as important in his confidence, his work ethic and his commitment. It's great that as part of TKD they also teach fundamental principles of respect to adults and peers, the importance of school, and bringing 100% to practice and all aspects of life. Master Jenny is fantastic with kids and is encouraging and inspiring to the participants.

All the teachers and staff at Parks are AMAZING! They go above and beyond to help my kids grow and develop. I have a 10-yr old son with ADHD, and since enrolling him in Parks, his focus is much better, his grades have improved and he has a much more respectful, positive attitude. Our 5-yr old daughter has tested for a higher belt, which motivated her even more! She asks every day if she gets to go see "Master Jenny". We LOVE Parks and all the families we've met! I highly recommend Parks!

My son started TaeKwonDo when he was 6 years old at another school in Aurora because he needed more confidence and physical activity. When we moved to Naperville, I looked for a new school and did my research. I wasn't finding any that fit what I was looking for for my son until we found PMAA (formerly known as World Martial Arts Institute). Senior Grand Master Park has an extensive background in Martial Arts with over 50 years training in TaeKwonDo to HapKiDo (Self-defense), KumDo and a few others. I signed my daughter Cynthia up for Tae Kwondo through the park district. She absolutely loved it and wanted to do more so when Master Jenni approached my family that they actually had a school outside of the park district we wanted to check it out. We met Grand Master Parks. He was so friendly. We immediately felt like we were apart of there family. They excepted us with open arms. I have been amazed by each and every person at PMAA. They have taught my daughter to believe in herself and to have such confidence. She even practiced the splits non stop until she could literally slide her legs straight

My family and I have had nothing but the best experiences at Park's Martial Arts Academy! There is a strong sense of community, trust, and discipline. My son and cousins look forward to attending class as much as possible. PMAA is very welcoming to all kids/adults and creates such a positive environment. All the instructors are very involved and encouraging with each student. My son's confidence, endurance, and manners have grown so much since attending classes at PMAA. I am truly grateful to have my family be a part of such a wonderful place.
