Our Kids classes for boys and girls is not just another after-school activity. Basketball, soccer and baseball are all great activities for children, but their journey here at Championship Martial Arts - Omaha is about personal development through a physical discipline. Our exciting, yet disciplined, classes focus a child's attention, thus improving his or her ability to learn.
With this age group, we work on preparing them for success in school, increasing concentration, focus, control of their bodies, confidence, and self-defense. The warm-ups are comprised of age-appropriate activities that address the weekly skill set. The martial arts component of the class will teach them the basics of Karate that they will continue to build on as they progress on their martial arts journey.
We know from experience that training at Championship Martial Arts - Omaha can offer everyone-regardless of age-a healthful balanced life. The benefits our Adult Martial Arts and Self Defense students enjoy are as varied as the individuals themselves, but the one thing we hear most often is the phrase, "I simply feel better."
Championship Martial Arts - Omaha's Women's Only Self Defense classes are a great way for Women to learn self-defense in a safe and friendly setting! Our amazing and compassionate Self Defense instructors will teach students how to prevent, deal with and overcome all kinds of violence and attacks from a unique and original training method that has been developed and refined during years of training.
At Championship Martial Arts - Omaha, we make your child's birthday party a day they'll always remember! In a 1.5 hour block of time, we will supervise games, activities, and even board breaking and birthday cake cutting with a real Ninja Sword for the birthday star! Our school offers a clean and safe environment for children to learn and play.

My son has been attending for almost eight years now. Our experience has been awesome because it’s been a FAMILY experience! As a family we have encouraged, supported, practiced and worked, cheered and cried with him as we watched him grow from a super hyper, passionate but wreckless and indisciplined young kids to a SUPER HYPER, DISCIPLINED, FOCUSED, STRONG, THOUGHTFUL AND COMMITTED 1ST DEGREE JUNIOR BLACKBELT!!! We've been taking our son here for nearly 2 years and he loves it! Its so great to see the same faces month after month, you can tell the staff/instructors are truly invested in each child's success. The curriculum is varied throughout the week so there are plenty of opportunities for him to go which makes the price considerably more reasonable. Working with Nicole and interacting with Sensei Todd truly makes it feel like a family. We're grateful to be apart of such a wonderful group of people.

I shared this sentiment with the owner today at the yearly sale but wanted to post it in detail here at the risk of seeming redundant, considering I personally signed up for the classes after seeing the great reviews on google. This place has done an amazing job of bringing together people from all walks of life and the general Omaha area. The community is fantastic. I am in my late 20s and was nervous about joining - thinking that it may be more geared towards children. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with our family membership. I’ve seen the improvements in focus and determination that comes from martial arts training in my kids, and the bonus of our membership allowing us to train along side them makes it a very positive experience for our family.
