Dr. Peters is a 2007 graduate of the University of Missouri Veterinary Medical College, with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. After graduating as a DVM, and several interviews all over the state, he moved back to his hometown and settled down as an associate with Marshfield Veterinary Clinic for 2 years practicing on large and small animals.

Services
Our facilities offer clean, fresh and safe boarding for any pet. Dogs are exercised twice a day. Our feline friends enjoy a "Kitty Condo, " secluded from our dogs. We can also accommodate any pocket pets, birds, or other critters needing attention while you are away! Two of the large runs and two of the medium runs will have live video feed capability with an app feature, extra $3/day.
We accept payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. So that we can continue to provide you high-quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, payment is required at the time services are rendered. Many emergency services are unplanned and unexpected. Many of our customers haven't always had the funding to adequately treat their pet.
This lets us record our clients and their pet or pets into our management software, allowing us to document and reference all aspects of your pet's past and current health. When you are going out of town, or maybe have guests visiting you, consider boarding your pet in either our luxurious or our cost-efficient kennels.

Great care and reasonable prices. Very helpful in helping us get 4 strays spayed, neutered, shots, treated for parasites, ear mites, etc. Additionally, kept them over an extra day when our car broke down, and helped us (both disabled) tote them to and from the car. Very good service and seems to like and care about cat's. Something, that sadly, we haven't found much of in our area of MO. Highly recommend them for your pet care, 👍.

I took my cat to this place because he hadn't eaten anything for one day and wanted to be sure nothing was wrong.He was jumping around at the vet and hard to hold as they examined him .They said he needed blood work done,they took him back to do blood work and said it came back good.Sent me home with a antibiotic and when I took him out of the carrier he couldn't no longer stand was sick as could be.What happened during blood work idk but he died soon after.

Dr Peters saw my cat on Saturday and answered all of my questions. He was able to put us at ease and treat her when she didn’t have an appointment.
Dr Knickmeyer is phenomenal. She saw both of my dogs today and is so amazing. She answered all of my questions and went out of her way to make my dogs feel comfortable. I highly recommend her!

We had a difficult case with a new born foal. The staff was very professional and diligent. They went up and beyond helping this little guy by giving him a fighting chance with their practice of veterinarian medicine. We are very thankful for them, their hard work, and dedication in treating our colt.

I moved here from Wisconsin and EVERYONE came with 20 + horses and our dogs. Since our move we have added more family members. I was terrified to find a good reliable veterinarian service. Dr Peters and his team are EXCELLENT!! Dr Peters quickly put my fears to rest. It has been such a pleasure working with everyone on his team. Poor Dr Beckman gets stuck with a lot of my crazy questions lately with our frenchies.

We had a scare over the weekend. Our puppy, Doc came in from playing outside with what appeared to be a nasty little scrape above his eye but the weird thing was his face was swelling at an alarming rate. He seemed himself so we hoped that maybe the next morning he would look better but woke up to find him worse because the swelling was now his… whole head instead of just around the injury. We took him to the vet and found out that a copperhead had bitten him. The vet was very calm and quickly administered a steroid shot and some antibiotics. He is now looking more like his old self and

ACA staff and vets are wonderfully to work with. Have had to call them out a couple times to help pull calves and Dr. Boeckmann helped both times... Very responsive and quick to get there. Even helped when I had a cow down in pasture in labor arrest to get her back up to barn before pulling the calf. Dr. Beth was able to get my dog in to be seen when she started walking like a drunk. She checked for a simple solution instead of going straight to ordering labs and such that would have increased the bill.. I don't even know where to start. I give this clinic 10 stars but only have option for 5 stars. I knew Dr. Peter's would know what to do. I been going to him for several years as well as my mother. Dr. Peters has never given me a reason not to trust him when it come to my furry friends. There is a reason why I drive all the way from Ozark MO to see this Dr. I trust him. My dog, Cody was very sick and because Dr. Peters stated that he needs to go for IV fluids I listened to what he stated and Cody would not been alive if it wasn't for him to direct me back to Ava.
