Hickory Ridge Restaurant has two convenient locations in Franklin and Cumberland County - Chambersburg and Carlisle, PA! We are the county's finest family restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Come in for some of the best family dining in the area! We ate here for the first time today and it was great!

Starting with our server, Mitch, it was all excellent. We liked the atmosphere, it was clean and our food was delicious! Their Apple Butter is amazing, we also had the brisket sandwich and a hot turkey sandwich with fresh cut fries and again it was all very good! The kids meals were great with enough food to take home!

My husband and I stopped here with our daughter today. I never knew this restaurant existed until today, so I thought it would be a nice place to try. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and the service was great. My husband ordered honey fried chicken, I ordered ribs, and we got chocolate chip pancakes for our daughter. There was sooo much food, so next time I will definitely be ordering a smaller meal for me and my daughter. My husband, however, was comfortable with his portion. They also have some things for sale (Amish peanut butter, bbq sauce, candles, country/rustic

Wonderful home cooking. Atmosphere very nice. Service is excellent especially when you consider the shortage of help. We are going back soon!

Added this restaurant to my 'Favorites' in Google Maps today. We had the Brisket and BBQ Chicken. Not too sweet, not too spicy, but LOTS of flavor. Friendly staff, and their Apple Butter changed both of our minds on what 'good' Apple Butter should be - in fact, we took a jar home.
This restaurant has a very country décor which is applied cleanly and without random junk screwed into the wall. Loved it! Will return.

I've been here a couple times but this last one the food just was not on point expect a little bit more out of a little country restaurant. It was a long lines of Denny's type food

Fantastic food and excellent service. I had the pork and sauerkraut w/ corn fritters and biscuits. It was all yummy and I had to order more biscuits because my husband loved the apple butter so much. The staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend!

Excellent home cooked food in a very quiet atmosphere. The brisket and roast beef were both very good, and all of the side dishes were excellent! The service was wonderful and the prices were reasonable. If we wander by this area in the future, we will definitely stop in again.

We were seated really quickly, right after we walked in the door. It wasn't real long before our waitress stopped by the table, and we made it known immediately that we both wanted coffee. It seemed to take a while to get there, maybe because of how much I wanted a cup of coffee at that point? I asked for honey, which is what I take in my coffee, but apparently the waitress forgot about it until she was reminded about it at a later point. The food, once it got there, was quite good, I had the "meat lovers omelette", and some excellent hash browns.
