I just wanna say…THEIR PANCAKES are THE best pancakes I’ve ever had! They’re my go-to spot for breakfast, honestly, and their bacon strips …YUM!! 🤤

Really great meal here after a day at the seafront. Fun place, especially for the kids and as it was October half term, it was decked out with spooky Halloween stuff. The kids had a treasure trail to do to find all the giant spiders and they got a lolly at the end of the meal. Staff really friendly. Vegan options too which we're good (pictured is the personalised vegan burger). Even vegan milkshakes! Will definitely try and go back.

Grumpys donated some vouchers for a fund raising event at Trinity's girls football ⚽️ team and myself and partner won whoop Whoop

Nice diner with the American feel and friendly staff. Had the route 66 burger which is massive (4 patties) and loved it. Nice chilli in the burger and crispy fries

Awesome service and great food. I only live 2 mins walk from this place and only recently tried this.Love the burger and the layout of the restaurant . I would love to try their food challenge next time. Don’t look at some of the 1 star reviews as we always have some Karen and John complaining for just being alive. Go try it out for yourself.

We have eaten in and had a delivery from Grumpy's recently and for the first time in a number of years. The staff are just outstanding, they are friendly, helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they all seem to have a great relationship with each other. It is such a nice experience. Our friends came to stay in Southend and liked it so much they went for breakfast everyday! Thank you and we highly recommend Grumpy's for the atmosphere, welcome and great food. Agreed to cater for our event and flaked on us at the last minute, leaving 120+ children hanging with no other food options. Would not return phone calls or talk to us in person leading up to the event. Completely unprofessional. Food was bland and tasteless. Wait staff was friendly in spite of the management's obviously substandard leadership.

First time we tried Grumpy's. It will be our favorite for burgers. We had the Grumpy Cheese burger, just a little crispy on the edges and nice and juicy. Onion rings are very tasty also. I had chocolate pie, and hubby had the coconut cake both were so delicious.

Just tried to eat at grumpys waited fourty minutes on catfish fillets took one bite knew something was wrong I spit it out took a fillet and broke it open omg it was raw I told the waitress and showed it to her and she agreed I got up and left and wont be back the catfish was pink and chewy instead of white and flaky horrible experience

This is a very nice hole in the wall at the once busy Boaz outlet centers. They have great bbq,good service,and friendly staff. The prices are reasonable. also. I recommend Grumpys to those who are tired of processed fast food.

A good, tasty meat and 3 place. Glad the previous reviewer told us it had moved, my GPS had its location wrong. The wait staff was quick, friendly, helpful. In a word--topnotch. The restaurant was clean and dining room temperature was just right. The shopping center in which is located is pretty much dead. It was once a very large outlet shopping center, Now there a few shops left, which means plenty of paring for Grumpy's.

Breakfast & Lunch, closed Saturdays. They are also open Fridays for Supper until 8 pm.
These folks have the "meat and three" daily special routine pretty much surrounded. They can also deliver, if you call an order in 30 minutes ahead.
Note that Grumpy's has moved in amongst the old outlet malls, next to the theater.
