David Nelams is a graduate of Lamar University and the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston.
A lifelong student of dentistry, he has completed advanced training in dental implants, orthodontics, sedation dentistry, and many other areas. Sommer graduated from Lamar State College Orange with a degree in Dental Assisting in 2003. She worked as a dental assistant with Dr. Nelams for 12 years. She rejoined the team in 2020 as the Doctor's Coordinator. Her favorite thing about her job is making sure patients feel welcomed and comfortable while they are in the office.
