Mr. Duffy, in addition to his private practice, is the St. Mary Parish Juvenile Public Defender. He has been the city attorney for the City of Morgan City and is a past Rotary president. This is in addition to being on other civic boards and serving his community. After graduating Nicholls State in 1989 in political science, Mr. Duffy went to work for the Louisiana House of Representatives drafting our laws.
Mr. McElroy was born in Franklin, Louisiana and the son of a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army. He was raised throughout the world gaining endearing knowledge helpful in dealing with people and resolving disputed issues. Mr. McElroy is a graduate of LSU Law School and began his continuous practice of law in Berwick, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana in 1972.
Continue west on U.S. 90 all the way into Morgan City. Continue over the Atchafalaya River separating Morgan City from Berwick. Get in right hand lane as you cross bridge and take the Berwick exit (first exit over bridge). As you proceed into exit be in the right lane and make almost U-Turn movement.
