Ladysmith Veterinary Clinic
Ladysmith Veterinary Clinic provides full-service small animal and livestock care. We welcome both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Dr. Jacob Smith and Dr. Todd Berry have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care.

Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our Ladysmith staff. We are happy to offer a number of resources that enable you to learn about how to take better care of your pets. Please feel free to browse our site, particularly the informational articles.
Services
First and foremost, we are a family driven, family oriented business. Our goal is to provide exceptional animal care and help you make decisions to benefit your pet and your family. Ladysmith Veterinary Clinic has been serving Rusk County for over 40 years. In 1972 the clinic was purchased by. Dr. Julian Lang.
Originally from Hermantown, MN the Smith family has resided in Northwest Wisconsin since 2013. Dr. Jacob and Breann live in Bruce WI, with their 5 children; Brooklyn, Masyn, Adalyn, Camdyn and Edyn. Our family enjoys athletics, the outdoors and spending time together at our hobby farm. Yulia joined our team in 2016.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty five days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion.
Many dog owners admire the unique looks and personalities of purebreds, but also worry about the fate of millions of pets euthanized each year. What many people don't realize is that there are specific breed rescue organizations for almost every breed of dog, placing dogs in need to new homes. If you're thinking of getting a pet fish, you should know that your veterinarian has a lot of good advice about pet ownership.
We value our clients' experience at Ladysmith Veterinary Clinic. If your pet or animal is currently a patient, please feel free to complete the following Client Experience Questionnaire. The Questionnaire is in Adobe Acrobat format, and requires the free Acrobat Reader to view. I wouldn't take my small animals anywhere else in the area.

Great place and very knowledgeable and caring doctor! We were at our cabin in this area and my bulldog had an eye emergency. Dr. Matt got us in right away! Was super thorough and kind! I am honestly thinking we should switch all three of our dogs to this clinic! Highly recommend!

The staff genuinely seems to care about your pets. They thoroughly explain things in easy to understand terms. They are decently priced. Only downfall is that since COVID-19 has come along and you are no longer aloud to go into the clinic, its more difficult to communicate with the vet and they are busier than normal. For instance, I took my poodle in because of symptoms of heart disease but I also needed him vaccinated for rabies and put on flea/tick prevent preventative. I emailed all this to the clinic when I made my appointment and reminded them twice while at my appointment. After telling
