At Epic Dentistry, we share a common vision to inform, educate, and empower people so they can reclaim their oral and overall health. Dr. Caulfield has been practicing dentistry since 2001. Over the last decade, he has transformed Epic Dentistry so that his long-time patients could benefit from advances in the studies of TMJ, sleep, and breathing disorders.

We understand that going to the dentist can be stressful. From fears and anxieties to financial pressures, our goal is to provide options so that you can have a positive experience with expert care. There has been a lot of talk in recent years about the rising cost of dental insurance and the fact that, even with insurance coverage, patients are paying out of pocket for most of their restorative work such as fillings and crowns.
At Epic Dentistry, we made a strategic decision to build our focus and strength as a practice around the treatment of airway, sleep and TMJ related issues. These particular issues are interconnected to a patient's oral health and are often the underlying cause of symptoms that patients initially come in to see a dentist for--such as crooked or crowded teeth, gaps, worn or chipped teeth, or tooth related pain.

I have a severe TMJ. Throughout years of suffering from it and trying out different treatments, I was finally referred to Dr. Caulifield. Several of the best oral surgeons in Colorado told me people from all over the states travel to see Dr. Caulifield to treat serious dental issues.
First, Dr. Caulifield is simply a pleasant person. I have met him in August 2021. He's positive, personable, caring, kind, but serious and straightforward when needed.

I'm a new patient and let me say that I have never felt more comfortable at at dentist office than I did here. Jordan was super awesome with my cleaning and exam. She was super friendly and caring. Dr. Caulfield is very personable and friendly. He really took the time to hear my concerns about my TMJ and sleeping problems. The ladies and the front desk were also very friendly and helpful. My insurance was showing I didn't have any coverage and they called the company while I was getting my exam and cleaning and got it all sorted out.

I LOVED my appointment today with Epic Dentistry! I've been going to my last dentist for 10+ years. I've moved further away and the office and because they got so big, I never consistently saw my favorite hygienist and my dentist moved to only focusing on big procedures. Everyone as Epic Dentistry was warm and welcoming for my first visit. The staff took extra care and attention to detail from going through my dental history to asking questions to get to know me. The dental hygienist, Jordan, made sure I was comfortable and took time to let me know step by step what we would be doing. She was very knowledge and answered any and all questions. The dentist, Dr. Caulfield was friendly and thoroughly examined my teeth. The entire experience made going to a new office enjoyable. I highly recommend them!

Relocating can be challenging. Having to find a new dentist is one of many necessities, and an easy one to procrastinate on. I figured I'd look into it eventually... then a tooth broke! I had to find someone fast, but wanted someone I could TRUST to give me good quality care without trying to up-sell and overcharge me (I had a bad experience elsewhere). I decided to try Epic based on the many 5-Star reviews and I am SO thrilled that I can check this one off the list- I have found my dentist!

The people here actually care and go at your pace. I have pretty bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist, but Joyce, Tara and of course Dr. Caulfield are all so amazing. I am here for TMJ issues and it is a very painful issue. They always make sure I am as comfortable as I can be when I am with them. When I have a mountain of questions, they always make sure to fully answer all of them and it never seems like they are rushing me. It is refreshing to come to an office like this. I adore this place. Both my mom and brother will be coming here for dentistry work.

This review is long overdue. Luckily, I've had the chance to try many different aspects of Dr. Caulfield's practice during the last year so I can comment on multiple items. First, Joyce, she is amazing, friendly and a wealth of knowledge! Second, Eletha (sp?), she is super nice and does such a thorough cleaning; helping you really take charge of your oral care. We LOVE Dr. Caulfield and his staff. They are very friendly and always go the extra mile to be helpful. Dr. Caulfield is extremely thorough and does not rush through his check-ups. He has gone over options as my 11 year old sons permanent teeth come in, and does not recommend early or unnecessary treatments. The office is modern and welcoming.
Even with all the Highlands Ranch dentists, who are a little closer to me, I would not consider switching.
