They literally sent my father in law ( who has heart issues along with a passmaker) away from the ER , pushed him out the front door, because he was driving a fever........after his doctor sent him over because he needed immediate attention! Are you kidding me! Good thing he didn't die on his way home!

I am a professional truck driver. On New Years Eve, my co-driver and I was rear ended by another truck and we were brought by ambulance to this hospital. The staff was great but I really want to give a special thanks to Pat. Pat was the security officer on duty and when he found out that our company (C R.ENGLAND) pretty much left us stranded and in the cold
with no help. He made calls and helped us get a room and was able to talk with a police officer to give us a ride to the motel so we wouldn't be out walking in 25° weather at 3 am. He went above and beyond and we are ever so grateful.Thank

The staff was amazing! We went into the ER about 8 o’clock at night because of a tree nut reaction. They got us right in and helped us out right away!

Keep driving! Dont stop! This hospital has many unethical ways.
It about the money and not your care! They are in a mountain town in Bishop California that has 30% vistors that experience AMS mountain sickness but they are unable to find AMS until they run every test that your insurance will cover AND THEN SOME.
They will call you a drunk if you do not agree to there plan of treatment.
This was told to my husbands friend attending to him at the hospital.
When i did not agree to fly my husband to Northridge Hospital the doctor
on call ( will not mention names). asked me personally if I would

A nurse while taking blood had the needle spin 360, while in my vein. It hurt and I had a bruise. More importantly, my husband told a nurse I was in labor. The male ER nurse who didn't work in maturity said "I doubt she's actually in labor." I was shaking and in pain. Maturnity nurse said I was in active labor. Also, had to call a nurse in because I felt like the baby was crowning. Nurse didn't rush in, went down to check and then popped her head up and said "The baby is coming!" Gave birth minutes later.

Went to the ER on Saturday August 10 2019. Excellent care from the nurses, staff, and from the ER Doctor. Very though and considerate for myself and my wife. Was there from 10 am until 3 pm. Felt much better after being treated than when I arrived. I was in very bad shape when I arrived. Very compassionate hospital. Excellent hospital!!!

We were visiting the area last weekend and had to take my son to the emergency room for what turned out to be altitude sickness. The staff who treated him were professional, kind, and competent. The administrative staff were the same. Thank you for taking such good care of my son and our family!

I had allergy rashes because of weather, i went there in emergency room, they checked, and told em the cream i am using is good and got 2 steroid tablets, everything went good, two months later, got a bill of 350 dollars for coming to emergency though i had insurance. they are crooks , will prefer to go to mammoth hospital next time and drive half hour , rather than going here. Though i got good treatment but 350 dollars bill for 10 minute visit. not good.

Excellent Care, Compassion, and Timeliness. I was treated here last summer for meningitis. All the healthcare professionals and ancillary staff in the emergency department were very professional and made me feel extremely comfortable. Thank you NIH for helping me through a tough time!
