Critical: Responsiveness
I was in search of a new firm to manage my personal and the businesses I own. I read solid reviews but some that said they never got a return call. So I reached out and left voicemails. I tried multiple extensions on the website. No one called me back. This took place about a month ago.

I tried to contact them via phone (left a voicemail) and email saying we needed a new CPA for our business & personal returns, and that we needed one quickly to help with some consulting matters. I never received a call back, and I got one email with a follow-up question, which I responded to immediately but never got another response. I also followed up to the email a few days later asking for response and still nothing. It's been about 2 weeks, so we moved on. I wanted to make others aware of their lack of response, in case it helps someone else.

I used Hicks & Associates for the first time this year and will never go anywhere else. Not only did they do a great job with my taxes (AND it was a little cheaper than what they quoted me at initially), David spent some extra time talking through my NEW small business with me and giving me some advice and information. It was greatly appreciated and helpful. Don't go anywhere else!
