I have to give DJ Paul an honest 3 stars. I’m thankful that he showed up on to the event on time, played the songs I requested, and was professional.
I’m knocking 2 stars off for performance. Because when I think of Disc Jockey (DJ), I think of someone who can read the crowd and mix music to keep the party going. That’s not what I feel we got.
The service I feel we receive was almost on par to a play list that played a single track at a time. We were really looking forward to dancing and felt that we picked the right DJ because he had good reviews and worked well with our coordinator. But

Paul was great through the entire process. We gave him some songs we definitely wanted and also some genres that we like. He did great at creating a great playlist. He is also great at directing attendees during toasts, etc. I have no complaints. He made our day even more magical as we didnt have to worry about any DJing issues. Thanks Paul!

Paul was hired for my daughter's wedding that took place on a very rainy day in Chico. He was easy to work with, made great suggestions, was professional and such a pleasure to work with. Paul David was our DJ for our wedding just a month ago. We had heard about him from word of mouth and so we met with him first to discuss details and get a feel for how he was. He is very organized and very detailed at what he does. He was incredibly helpful from our first meeting and throughout the process. He was in touch and organized which you do not always find with this type of venue. He is very reachable and willing to make your wedding night just how you want it with music and sound. Not only was he great as a DJ - he went above and beyond for us with lighting and with sound. We had 4 musicians

As a wedding coordinator, its always great to work with DJ's who are professional, on time, easy to work with, and good at what they do. Paul at Stay Gold was a pleasure to work with, on time for set up, had great equipment and a huge selection of music, and did a really great job of keeping guests dancing all night!

Paul was the only DJ my husband and I met with prior to our wedding and we're glad he was the one we chose! Once we met and talked for a little while we knew we'd be in good hands. Not only was he very helpful throughout the process of us choosing music by keeping in touch through e-mails, he checked in with us during the night of our wedding to be sure we were having a good time. We wanted a variety of music, from classical while guests waited for the ceremony to begin, music from the 1920's during dinner and a fun mix of 80's to modern for the reception. He had no problem

Paul David was great - from start to finish, he worked with us to incorporate our musical vision into our wedding. Reachable by text, email, or phone, he was open to all of our requests (and even took many from our guests during the wedding). He even has a "do not play list," which "The Chicken Dance" immediately went on.
Folks were dancing all night, which is the sign of a great DJ! He's also organized some of the best vendors in the Redding area under the Northern California Event Services umbrella, which should be the first site you visit if you're getting married
