Services
Do you like fast service? How about free estimates? Low prices? As the leading source for residential and commercial plumbing in Bellevue, WA, Walt's Plumbing offers all three. And so much more. Since Walt Gillespie started offering affordable plumbing services in 1976, we have been committed to excellence.
A leaky faucet can be annoying, especially when you can hear the audible dripping day and night, but it can also be very costly. Significant leaks can waste hundreds of gallons of water every day, which could cost you up to $200 per year. You can save that money by acting fast and contacting faucet repair services in Bellevue, WA.
A home's plumbing system is only as good as its drains. Even if an appliance such as your bathtub or washing machine is still working and has hot water, a clogged or leaking drain will prevent you from using it. For example, you could have the best water pressure and the most luxurious showerhead, but if your drains aren't working, you can't enjoy a relaxing shower.
Some plumbing problems are possible to live with until you get them fixed. If your water heater goes out, you can suffer through a few cold showers and heat water on the stove if you need it. If your bathroom sink stops draining, you can brush your teeth in the kitchen. But if you have sewer problems, your whole home is out of commission until they get fixed.
A clogged drain can be a simple annoyance, but it can also pose a threat to your plumbing. If you have a clogged drain, don't wait to call Walt's Plumbing for rooter and drain services in the Kirkland, WA, and Bellevue, WA, areas. You can experience clogs in your sink, tub, washer, or even within your sewer pipes.

We have used Walt a number of times in the last 20 years. We put up with all his un-solicited political opinions because he did good work and was fair. This last time is the last time I will call him. He unplugged our main drain for $100 which was ok. I asked him to look at the bathroom sink drain. He said it was ok but charged me $100 dollars for doing nothing other than running a little water down the drain. This was a ripoff.

Affordable and honest work. This is a one man business and Walt charges the most fair out of every other plumbing companies that charges ridiculous minimums 100-250 without doing any work. Walt is old school but he gets the work done at the lowest cost. He helped cleared up a clogged sink pipe for me and replaced a cracked cap for less than $130. If you are not in rush and on budget, then Walt is your guy. If you need a scheduler and can afford to pay high dollars, then he is not your guy.

NOT RECOMMENDED: Beware of Walt's Plumbing : UNSAFE. The guy (Walt?) showed up at my door without being properly masked. When I asked him to cover his nose, he responded that he then would not be able to see. When I insisted, he basically just walked out the door and got verbally abusive.
It's important for both of us to ensure our mutual safety. I did my part; he didn't do his.
Do NOT support this behavior on the part of vendors. STAY SAFE

I called Walt as he was highly recommended in my neighborhood Nextdoor app. He came in short notice and mitigated my insta-hot water leak quickly and at a very reasonable rate. He recommended removing an unnecessary water filter. He also informed me that to fully remediate the situation and replace the fixture will require several hours and drilling a bigger hole in the granite countertop to accommodate the fixture size. Since the existing fixture has plastic pipes at some point they will be brittle and will probably leak and recommends doing that work when the time comes. I will not hesitate

I hired Walt for another job, and again, was more than impressed with his work. I had Roto Rooters come by and quote me a price, which seemed excessive. I was right - Walt did the job in half and hour and charged less than a fifth (!!!) of what Roto Rooters quoted me. I'm so happy I found an honest reliable plumber who does an amazing job. Can't imagine hiring anyone else in the future!

I had various people install all-new countertops, sinks, faucets, etc. in my kids bathroom. Unfortunately no one saw that the old location of water valves and drains obstructed the pop-up drain rods in one of the faucets. They suggested that I move the plumbing at significant expense.
Walt's Plumbing was recommended by the Keller Supply warehouse in Redmond. Mr Walt Gillespie simply used a set of pliers and a hacksaw to cut down parts of the stainless assembly until it all fit.
He's a very nice, soft-spoken guy. Thank you for saving me time and $$ with a non-invasive solution to
