I'm Jo Vilayphone -a mom, wife, and photographer in northeast Indiana specializing in family, child, and senior portraits using natural lighting and outdoor scenery. As a mom of two littles, I know firsthand the importance of "being in the moment" with your family, but I also know those moments are fleeting.
There's no better way to relive and share these moments for years to come than with professional photos. My passion with photography began as a young child when my elderly neighbor's friend introduced me to his early 20th century film photography. When I started photography in the early 2000s, there was no Photoshop to correct errors, so I learned the importance of taking a great shot without the ability to digitally alter it.

This photographer is a nightmare to work with. She is very difficult to get a hold of and she does not respond to emails. She expects her clients to do the traveling, as she is not willing to travel very far from her home unless it is convenient for her. This is particularly difficult when you have small children. She does not work well with newborns or new parents. She gives very little direction during her sessions resulting in terrible photos. The backdrops she uses for her 'studio' sessions are tacky and do not look good in photos at all. I am so disappointed that I chose this photographer
