Kara did my hair yesterday. I have not had hair dye in my hair for over a decade. My hair was long dark virgin hair. I showed her exactly what I wanted to be at as far as a balayage goes. The first turn out was absolutely stunning. I have been getting compliments and asked where I got my hair done by so many random people. Kara has outstanding customer service and went over and beyond my expectations. I scheduled my next appointment on the 8th and I cannot wait! I am so excited! I highly recommend you go to Lavish and see Kara.

Yet another amazing experience at Lavish! My natural hair color is medium brown. I have very blond baby-lights. I hate brassy on any level. Christina consistently creates the perfect color (very difficult with my hair), and responds patiently to my high maintenance demands. She takes her time to understand exactly what I want, always ensuring the healthiest outcome for my hair. I have been getting my hair done by Christina for years. Consistent results that are priceless!

My experience was great. Justyne is a great gal and very honest in regards to your expectations of what you ask for, lol. The only thing I didn't like are the "ala cart prices." For example the Balayge start at $160 or 170 something like that., but If you need additional scopes of bleach its $20 more each sc Iope. I've never heard of a salon that charges you by the product. So it just became to pricey for me. I left paying $300 and I did not get what I asked for. Lol!! But Justyne was great not her fault how that business operates.

Nicole, the Hair Ninja, consistently gives methe best haircut I’ve ever had. My hair looks terrific all day long, even after I’ve had it in my helmet. It keeps its shape while growing out, and looks amazing whether I do it up or let it dry by itself. I’ve truly never had anyone who’s even come close.

Unfortunately I had an extremely poor experience here. I booked online in a bit of desperation while traveling to an unexpected event in San Francsico, having never been here before and unable to book with my usual stylist in Grass Valley. I had no idea that this was a teaching salon and that I would be subject to getting highlights by both my stylist and an apprentice at the same time... each doing one side of my head.... the results were... not the best. I should have run away at the beginning when I was asked to sign a consent form stating essentially that getting color is risky and whatever

Lavish Studio is one of those places that you visit and the results are not always consistent. The first time I went I had my hair done by Christina who mentioned has been doing hair for many years . She also had an assistant who was new to the business , but guided her through the process , which made me feel relieved . I was very happy with the results and had been referring friends and family to go there for all their hair needs .
