I first met Dr. Amy in 2009 when I had severe chronic back pain. She was able to fit me into her schedule quickly and started my treatments. My wife found Ying and Yang Acupuncture when she needed adjuvant therapy when she's having severe Chemotherapy side effects. Dr. Amy is very quick in responding and getting her in the clinic ASAP. On my wife's 3rd visit, I decided to try treatment for my shoulder pain and insomnia. I felt relief from pain and able to sleep well at night. I felt energized and always ready to go in the morning. I was introduced by a friend to the traditional Chinese medicine clinic of Ying Yang Acupuncture in 2009. I wanted to come here for help because I felt very weak after my operation. 'm so glad I found Dr. Amy on Yelp. I originally went in for this tremor in my right foot and leg that was constant for over 7 months. My primary care doctor thought it was restless leg syndrome and that it was probably stress related. She told me to take some time off from work to see if that helps. I took a month off and it maybe improved a little but it was full on again when I returned to work. I even saw a neurologist to see if it was some sort of degenerative disease like MS or Parkinson. I was relieved that all the tests showed no signs of the diseases I was worried about or read about.

I was flying to San Jose to visit family when I tweaked my back. By the time we arrived, I was in a great deal of pain. So I looked up acupuncturists on Yelp and found Dr. Yang, whose office was not far from where I was staying. I got two treatments before heading home a week and a half later. I don't think I would have survived the plane ride without Dr. Yang's helpful treatment. She was kind and friendly and a good acupuncturist. I highly recommend her practice!

I’m 30 years old and 7 months pregnant. My sister recommended I go to an acupuncturist for my pregnancy back pains. It was hard for my to sleep because of it. I found this place by pure luck! I went to be treated by this doctor for the first time last month and I paid cash for the treatments. When I asked for a receipt during my first visit, Amy hesitated to give me one because she stated that she was too busy, until I insisted. The second visit when I paid cash, she suggested that I wait for the receipt when I return for my third visit. Once again, I had to insist that she give me a receipt. I have always wanted to get an acupuncture done to see what it's like. I can honestly say that the difference between my first and second day of treatment has been phenomenal! Dr. Amy takes interest in each patient with care.

So i been dealing with a bad foot and limping around for months.
i took pain medication, iced it, elevated it, spent hundred on different type of remedy products and it still swelled up to where i needed some rral deal medical attention on the asap.
got scanned, workups, all that ish ...was immobilized, then casted ...had to walk around using crutches and a friggin peg leg.
even after all that and the pain going away for a bit and the swelling goin down some ...im back to where i started, IN PAIN and limping around.
so you know what, when western medicine doesnt come thru the way i need

I've been going to Dr. Amy for about a couple years and it's as great as it can get. She and her assistant is incredibly nice and extremely patient and helpful. She always goes the extra mile to make sure that I am more than satisfied before leaving her office. She is always willing to accommodate to my needs. I have been to many acupuncture clinics in my life, including various locations in LA and the OC and nothing compares to this clinic. Dr. Amy & her assistant, Cody, took care of my ailments throughtout the year. Kept me pretty healthy, I was able to conceive my last pregnancy after over 6 years from my firstborn. Dr. Amy and Cody took care of me to achieve my best health condition right after I gave birth, with Chinese herbs (daily), accupuncture and accuppressure 3x a week. Cody and YingYang have been a godsend. Some background: I've dealt with digestive issues for the greater part of my adult life. There's not really a cure for what I have...not is it fatal...the diagnosis is symptom management.
When I first started going to YingYang I was skeptical having tried many attempts in the past. I must say I'm pleased with progress and feel an improvement over where I was in the past.

Was suffering major tension in neck and upper back, which caused extreme pain while exercising and sleeping. Stepping into the office, my pain level was at a level 8, with tingling sensations running through my right hand. Walking out of the office, my pain level dropped to a level zero with no tingling, and was able to have full range of motion with my arm, inducing a smile.
Will definitely be referring my friends and family to Dr Amy Yang and her staff, so they too can experience the benefits of being pain free and restore emotional joy.

My friend referred me to Dr. Yang and I found out she is a great doctor. She helped me to treat some of my body issues. Then I got pregnant in 3 months, like a miracle. It was the first time that I had acupuncture. She was very patient and started the treatment with small needles until I felt comfortable with acupuncture. Every time that I visited her, she always spent time checking out my body situation first before giving any treatment. She also played lovely music in her office to help patients relax through the treatment. I love the music, which is very relaxing and enjoyable.
