In 1963, our company founder, Joe Charles Wilson, began work with the Tennessee Department of Transportation. During his tenure with TDOT, he also attended The University of Tennessee extension in Nashville and pursued his "semi-famous" rodeo career. After leaving TDOT in 1965, Charles continued surveying with private civil engineering firms until he formed Joe Charles Wilson Statewide Surveying in 1972.

I give this company one star because zero stars is not an option. We called Wilson & Associates for months before they finally worked us in to do a property line assessment. Our neighbors planted trees on the property line, even slightly on our property and we needed proof so that we could have legal backing during a discussion about what to do moving forward in the event that we sell our home. We hired Wilson &A to give us legal documentation. Keith Brotherton came out and put stakes in our yard demonstrating the line. He assured me that I would be receiving legal proof shortly and that his work
