Your son or daughter has taken to their feet. They walk, talk, and begin to develop relationships with one another. Smart Start's toddler program is filled with sensory and movement experiences that emphasizes the importance of a toddler's environment and relationships. We strive to provide a high level of interaction while individually nurturing each child.
How do I enroll my child? Smart Start understands that choosing a preschool and Kindergarten for your precious child is a difficult one, with a lot of thought behind it. This is why we feel honored to be serving the families in many communities. Call or email to set up a personalized tour. Please feel free to bring your child/children along on the tours as they need to feel comfortable in our environment as well.
Hello, my name is Rebecca Hardesty and I have been working with Smart Start Creative Learning Center since Newark opened in early 2010. I was introduced to Smart Start when my own son, Caleb, was 2 years old and attended the first Smart Start preschool. I have been married to my husband Grant for 17 years and we are blessed with 3 children who keep us very busy.
The Smart Start Preschool Lunch Bunch program is open to all students. It is an optional opportunity to enjoy lunch "on campus" instead of bringing it from home. Made of only the freshest ingredients, lunches at Smart Start allow students to enjoy wholesome homemade meals with classmates. Lunch can be purchased a month ahead of time and receive 3 meals free, or can be purchased as little or as much as you would like.
At The Smart Start Preschool Creative Learning Center students are appropriately challenged both academically and socially. A student's education is personalized so they are constantly engaged and motivated on a level that is unique to them. Given the small class size and the full day of school, (8:30 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.) students have the availability to explore beyond the minimum of state standards of reading and writing, unlike a public school.
