Dr. Moshier earned his B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Buffalo, and his DMD degree from Tufts University of Dental Medicine. He spent three years in Northern Virginia as an associate where he experienced numerous technologies at the forefront of dentistry. He is an active member of several prestigious dental associations, including the Maine Dental Association (MDA) and American Dental Association (ADA).

I have been patients of Pleasant Street Dental since Dr. Moshier hung up his sign. Dr Moshier is very understanding about dental anxiety and whenever I have had a hard go of it, he intuitively knew when to give me breaks during my appointment. His staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Jill, is a jack-of-all trades. She is absolutely phenomenal. I needed extensive oral surgery that also required coordinating immediate follow up with Dr Moshier and Jill was instrumental in setting up and coordinating the plan of care so there was smooth transition from surgeon’s office in Portland to his office

I used to think this dental practice was wonderful - the dentist is nice and the hygienists are great. However, it's only the right dental practice for you if you can predict your schedule seven months in advance (that's how far forward they book appointments). I understand everyone is busy, but this represents unacceptable delays in care. I will be looking for a new dentist.

My first meeting for a consultation for crowns/ implants that I had lost was great!
All of the staff and Doctor were friendly, professional and truly exceptional.
Having to find a new dentist and dental office once my previous dentist was no longer available has been a “ task” for sure! But it seems I have been lucky to finally have found a new “ dental team”.

I just switched to this office about 6 months ago. I have been to the office three times (2 cleanings and 1 appt to fix some old dental work). Every time I have been in this office I have enjoyed the helpful and kind staff. Everyone is very friendly and eases any fears or anxiety. They are focused on your treatment and care, not on selling you the latest gadget or procedure (my previous dentist experience was constant deflecting of sales people). The care team is wonderful at Pleasant Street Dental, as is Dr. Moshier.
