Your Place Physical Therapy
Your Place PT hopes to revolutionize the way that physical therapy services are provided to Sarasota residents by offering strictly 1-on-1 treatment that guarantees that our patients see the results they are seeking. You do not have to live a life that you feel is limited in any way. Your best days do not have to be behind you.

We strive to help you reach your maximum potential. Those who have had poor experiences with physical therapy in the past and still need it but are skeptical about committing to it again. Those who have seen a doctor but were never referred to physical therapy. Instead they've been prescribed pills, told to rest, advised they need surgery or simply left with the understanding that the pain is something they will have to live with.

Are you interested in improving your game to help you rise above competition? If so, then this private pickleball program is for you!
Are you someone who loves to run? Would having to stop your running routine negatively impact your quality of life? Whether you're a beginner runner, serious runner or somewhere in between - this program can help you improve your performance and reduce your risk of injury. The two different types of workshops include Premier (2 sessions/week for 8 weeks) and Standard (2 sessions/week for 4 weeks).
The following information is from a study carried out by the National Institute of Health regarding injuries sustained by non-elite athletes during exercise:. Injuries were sustained by 46% of females who exercised or played sports an average of 3 times per week. Injuries were sustained by 69% of males who exercises or played sports an average of 3 times per week.
Injury is never welcomed but it is a well-known risk in sports of all kinds. Most injuries, however, are easily treatable and preventable through a comprehensive physical therapy treatment plan. Most of the documented injury episodes (65%) involved individuals aged 5-24 years, with the highest rate registered by children 5-14.

I recently started a job where I’ve been on my feet for hours & developed achilles tendinitis. During my consultation with Frank, he showed me the factors contributing to my pain. Once I started the at home treatments I have noticed major improvements & little to no pain. I highly recommend using Your Place Physical Therapy for any discomfort you are feeling. The results are worth it.

Dr. Frank Allen treated me for lower back pain, which I experienced after a boot camp class. He meticulously scanned my body for tightness and weak areas, successfully alleviating the strained muscle areas. He concluded my session by suggesting core and hip flexor exercises to mitigate future issues. While a bit sore from the applied pressure; I felt great two days after treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing physical pain or discomfort.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Frank. Rather than doing a typical PT regimen of treating only the injury, he takes a full body view. He did an assessment and came up with a plan to work on all the problem areas, from neck/shoulders to core/hips/back to the feet. In my particular situation I had Achilles surgery. He asked what my goals were following recovery and incorporated exercises to help me get to my goals, besides the exercises specific to the Achilles. Overall I found the sessions extremely helpful and strongly recommend him.

As I started to play pickleball I developed some aches and pains in my legs and feet. I even began getting a tingling feeling in my right foot. Dr Frank Allen really helped me out. He identified a few issues and through therapy and particular strengthening exercises my pains eased and I began to feel better. My mobility and reach improved. Now, the stiffness and pains in my legs, hips and back are gone and my foot doesn’t tingle. Great improvement!

Dr. Allen did a wonderful job getting me out of pain and on a fitness routine to help strengthen areas that were weak and not performing well. He also helped get my elderly father-in-law more mobile and feeling better. I would highly recommend his services!

Dr. FrankB is exceptional. I am so pleased to be working with him. If you’ve ever had an average experience working with a physical therapist, I would recommend that you go from average to exceptional. Dr. FrankB spends time with me helping me out in various areas. It is such a valuable use of time. Don’t settle for average, I encourage you to call Dr. Frank.

Dr Frank Allen has helped me out tremendously. I have been playing Pickleball for about a year and was getting injured on a regular basis. Dr Allen met with me, gave me a full body assessment and then designed a work out routine to strengthen areas where I was weak. After 6 weeks I feel stronger and better than ever. I would highly recommend him to anyone who loves sports and wants to continue playing them for years to come.
