At Gold's Pharmacy, we offer a unique level of customer service and patient care, something not found at many of the big chain pharmacies. Evan Lessa obtained his Bachelors Degree in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University and also obtained his PharmD from Temple University School of Pharmacy.

This pharmacy is quite terrible, especially when compared with the other local pharmacies in the area. If you can even get someone to answer the phone at this pharmacy, they are rude and unpleasant and they do nothing extra to help their customers. Once got through to the pharmacists only for them to tell me they were closed, a half hour before their listed closing time. Don’t use this pharmacy.

Pharmacy is located in a neighborhood that offers many amenities. Pharmacists there one male and female speak fluent Russian and are natives and proud partners of their business and also home health care. I have been with this pharmacy and truly enjoy how dedicated they are in helping their customers and community .

If I could give them less than 1 Star I would. It's a shame because until today I held golds in the highest regard.
My mom had been having issues getting her CHRONIC PAIN medication from the pharmacy for one reason or another. Today she got a call from the MAIN PHARMACIST saying she needed to take her prescriptions to CVS because he didn't profit from them.
EXCUSE ME?! I get your pharmacy is a business but are you kidding me?? Even after my mother explained that she switched to golds because it was a lot less expensive than CVS. My mother cannot work, has no income, we try to help

Was told i should check this place out by a friend. On a lot of insulin and other stuff for years and even with good ins. I was still paying 400/500 in co pays every month. So I went in and gave them all my scripts and my buddy was right they were pretty friendly and nice but the best surprise was waiting for me when I came back to pick up my medicine. While Evan was filling my meds he took the time to get on the internet and find coupons/discounts that I had no clue where out there or I qualified for and got my bill down below 100$. I am so glad I stumbled on Gold’s pharmacy. I decided to give them a try after I got tired of the high co-payments at CVS and waiting in long lines. Evan fills my prescriptions quickly and even delivers them directly to my house! The cost of my prescriptions are now half of what I use to pay! He is knowledgeable and accommodating. I only wish I would of switched pharmacies earlier.

Great to have professional adult pharmacists. Customer friendly and knowledgeable staff. Meds always in stock.
They DELIVERED Rxs, which is great for shut ins.
No groceries and junk or often out of meds like CVS. Pricing as good as chains.
They ordered lumbar brace for me and delivered it in day.
Closest to apothecary with benefits.
No more CVS lies, overcharges, w/o pharmacist and clerks indifference.
Glad to have REAL pharmacy with pleasant attitude.

I think golds pharmacy is tremendous at handling good customer service. Whenever my doctor sends over a prescription I get a text notification stating they're filling it. Then I get another text letting me know it's done. Before I know it my doorbell rings with all of my candy (meds) at my doorstep. This service alone is why you should do business and order your meds through golds. It's grub hub for drugs!!!!

This place is truly a family pharmacy. The staff is very professional, very friendly, and beyond helpful. Evan will find coupons for you if something isn't covered by insurance. They ordered my Rx and delivered it to my office in Center City the next morning, and Evan said they'd order it every month to have it in stock for refills. I highly recommend switching to this pharmacy!! Support small businesses!!

Thank goodness for Golds Pharmacy!!! I can't stand the terrible service at those corporate chains like CVS and Rite Aid, but this new addition to the neighborhood makes you feel like family. The main pharmacist Evan was so welcoming and told me everything I needed to know about my prescription. The store also has high end lotions for skin that you won't find on those big chain shelves. Love the television in the front: No one called out my name, I just saw it listed and went up! Support local business and make this your go to pharmacy; you will not be disappointed!

If you're expecting a national chain, go across the street to CVS. If you want a pharmacist who'll go to the mat against your insurance company, come here. We just changed insurance companies after I retired so we needed to restart a bunch of prescriptions with a new Doctor.
Wife needed an Advair inhaler but the new insurance screwed up and denied it. Gold's spent at least an hour on the phone fixing the insurance company's screw up and then dug up a manufacturer's coupon that reduced the the usual $60+ cost to $10.

I'm writing to hopefully express how amazing Gold's pharmacy is from customer service to pricing to delivery (who makes house calls anymore? They do!)
I am an attorney by profession, and I only say that to show how jaded I am with the healthcare system, including chain pharmacies. These days, your lucky if the same pharmacist is at one of the big chain stores from week to week. They are turning into big BOX stores. You are a number in the computer. They are so overwhelmed, getting them to help with cost, discount cards, the cheapest distributers is simply impossible. But not at Gold's pharmacy
