Tracy Bowers started a company in 1996 that cleaned all types of commercial flooring. By the summer of 2000, her husband Bill had joined and the company began serving residential clients as SteamWorks. For over 20 years, SteamWorks has been cleaning all types of carpet and area rugs for clients all over the Charlotte area.
Both Bill and Tracy have been certified by the IICRC in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, odor control, water restoration and carpet repair. For most jobs, SteamWorks uses a truck mounted hot water extraction machine, known as steam cleaning. For jobs that require cleaning in high rise buildings, SteamWorks uses portable machines and rotating brush equipment to get commercial carpet as clean as possible.

SteamWorks helps our clients with all their carpet issues. We clean fine area rugs both on the premises and off site. We can rid your home of odor issues caused by pets. We offer free on-site quotes or we can quote your price over the phone with just a few questions.
SteamWorks uses a truck mounted hot water extraction machine, known as steam cleaning. Hot water extraction is the single most effective method to rid your carpet of dirt, bacteria and allergens. The hot water extraction method allows us to safely remove dirt, spots and odors, without leaving behind any residue.

I want to say how grateful and pleased I am. I live in an apartment and the unit above us had a leak. So many places do not do apartments and I understand why now, trying to find a water outlet close to me that was working was a challenge. But he did not give up and just throw in the towel. My sofa had a water line up the entire base and its now completely gone. It was only 3 years old but looks even better than I could have imagined. Steamworks cleaned our living room carpet and furniture (sofa, love seat, chair). The difference between the before and after was amazing! I wish I would have taken a picture. There was also a remarkable difference in eliminating the pet odor. So glad I found Steamworks because they are affordable, perform quality work, and most of all, trustworthy.
