My son was having car problems while away at OU. No parent likes to hear this…there is a fear that their child will find themselves facing an expensive, unnecessary repair. Sundown found a fast, incredibly inexpensive solution to the problem. Great to know there is a reliable shop in Athens…I may drive down with my other cars when they need service! If you have students in Athens - send them to Sundown when their cars need service.

I am so excited that I have found my new "personal" mechanic, someone I can trust, someone who will give me clear true answers to my questions, and someone who has the knowledge and skills to give me valued advice. I have an older Subaru and I am a single woman with very little mechanical knowledge. Danny impressed me through our phone conversations before I even met him. I had a number of problems that needed done. He saved me money and explained the work in terms I could understand. Thanks for being AWESOME Danny! :-)

Danny and the guys at Sundown garage are absolutely the best in Athens! They provide first class service and always strive to keep the cost down. I have used their services multiple times to fix issues in my 2001 Acura TL. They get the work done pretty quickly and offered to drop me off and pick me up again. I was absolutely satisfied with the way they fixed the issues. Danny also threw in a headlamp buffing before he handed me back the keys each time. You’ll be glad you chose to come here.

As a woman it's complicated to go to any garage, dealership, or auto parts store... The majority of the time you're lack of knowledge about cars is exploited. But every employe and the owner treated me with respect, understanding, and patience. Because of this, I absolutely love this garage! I stumbled upon them while searching for a place to work on my Kia Rio and I'm so glad I found them! Great people and great service. Danny and the rest of the staff really know what they're doing and they charge a fair price. I have brought my car in on multiple occasions and they always get my car running smoothly again. They have diagnosed problems that other places have overlooked. While on the road a long way from home, I noticed oil dripping from the engine area of my Toyota. The local Toyota dealer quoted $1646 to stop the leaks.
Danny, the Sundown owner, determined the leak was from a loose oil filter, which simply needed to be hand-tightened.
