Taos Dental Group in Taos, NM has been proudly serving the Taos, NM community for over 50 years. I was very impressed that they could take me the same day as a walk-in. The office is very comfortable and the receptionist worked with me to set up the proper appointment. The doctor took the time to discuss and help me choose the right treatment option to correct my problem.

Unbelievable service, I called this morning for an emergency appointment . Tammy at the front desk told me that they would see me immediately. Needed emergency dental service as cracked a tooth while on vacation. Was able to get same day appointment. The clerical staff were efficient and polite. My dentist was personable, professional and removed the broken tooth promptly with no pain. The dental hygienist took time to explain to me what a crown was with a tooth model and photographs… taken. The dentist consulted with another dentist in regards to my case to ensure if any other steps were needed until I could return to my regular dentist. I felt confident in the decision. Within an hour I was taken care of with an antibiotic prescribed

When I lost a big filling in a front tooth, I was surprised and delighted to be able to get an appointment in Taos the next day. The dentist and his assistant who replaced my filling were competent and reassuring. The dentist took the time to thoroughly explain all the procedures. He was gentle, sure-handed, knowledgeable and polite. Everyone wore masks. The office was clean and ventilated. I am grateful for the quick and professional service. Thanks!

This is the third time I have frequented Taos Dental Group...2-emergencies and Dentists Dr Nylund & Dr Noah got me right in and took wonderful care of my emergencies...and so I decided to transfer my dental records & x-rays from CA to NM (we split our time btwn these states) and select them for my ongoing dental needs. This is one of the friendliness, most professional & well run dental offices I have ever frequented. And Dental Assistants Kristin & Amanda, Administrator Loretta and the entire Team are also wonderful. Thank You, Taos Dental Group!!!

My father spent nine months trying to get his dentures in. At one point he called to check on what the hold up was & they told him he needed to go back to have the impressions redone, because they were too old. However, he had just done them two weeks prior! He had to take off work to have them redone. This is nothing more than bad business practice, because they either broke them or lost them & didn't want to admit their error. There is no reason that it should take nine months for anyone to get a set of dentures!! That is gross negligence on behalf of business!! He got nothing but

My family was on vacation last week, visiting from NYC. My teenage daughter had a wire come loose in her braces and even though Taos Dental Group does not have an orthodontist (and neither, apparently, does the whole of Taos!), they told us to come right in. They took us an hour after we called, even though they were clearly busy. A dental assistant was able to maneuver the wire back into place, saving our vacation, and relieving my daughter of her pain. The place was clean and bright and bustling and we are SO GRATEFUL to the practice for their generosity and skill.

Updating my earlier review on the office staff's incompetence and negligence. Six months have passed since I requested a records transfer IN WRITING with proof of delivery and TDG has not honored that request. I suppose that the 'ladies who lunch' who work in the office get to decide what parts of their job they actually want to do. Shame.

I worked for dr. simms for 2 years around 2004 and i wish i could move back to taos so i could still see him as a dentist. i still miss the whole office! as much as i miss the green chili. if i could commute from los angeles to taos, i would.

I went to Dr. Simms for a second opinion after receiving a $4,500 treatment plan from Judy Anderson. They were able to see me within a week, the receptionist was friendly, Dr.Simms took his time with me and explained my x-rays, took pictures of my mouth and explained all these images as well. He was calm, comforting, and found one cavity (not six), and recommended that I get my wisdom tooth pulled. He was realistic about dental work that I would most likely need "sometime in my life" but did not use scare tactics like Dr. Anderson to get me to do a lot of dental work that I don't
