I am a native Floridian who graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. After graduation, I joined the United States Marine Corps, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant upon completion of Officer Candidate School, in Quantico, Virginia.
During my service with the Marine Corps, I was stationed with the First Battalion Fifth Marine Regiment, in Camp Pendleton, California, and served as an Infantry Officer and Rifle Platoon Commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom.Upon my return from Iraq, I served the remaining of my active duty time as a hand-to-hand combat (MCMAP) instructor for the Fifth Marine Regiment.
