Refinishing means sanding your floors down to bare wood, re-staining (with the color of your choice) and applying polyurethane. If you prefer oil-based polyurethane, we will apply 2 coats and lightly sand between coats. With water-based poly, 3 coats are used with light sanding between coats 1 and 2 and scuffing between coats 2 and 3. Of course we "tack" (clean the dust) prior to each coat.

I was initially very impressed with Matt and Sam. They were both responsive and communicated well. Sam sent pictures and ultimately the floors look great. However, I shouldn’t have listened when they said there wouldn’t be a lot of dust. Also, the reviews below that they ruined fresh paint are absolutely correct. I contacted Matt after to ask his team to come out to clean up and was told it’s normal for it to need to be repainted after- what a great time to share since I told him from the beginning he was doing work following newly painted walls. While they obviously know how to do the floors

I was blown away by how good my floors looked after they were done! My floors were in rough shape, and they made them beautiful. On the first morning the crew was late, and I had to wait until 2:00 p.m. to see and pick my color samples so you may want to take the whole first day they are scheduled to be there off, but the finished product at such a great price was well worth it! I recommend! The video has a before and after!!

Fabulous Floors did a great job for my real estate client. They fit us in the schedule quickly, were responsive and easy to work with. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because I should have had an in person estimate (my mistake) to know which scratches would disappear and which were too deep so that we had clear expectations. That being said, the floors looked much better when we listed the house.

I was pleased with the floors but was not happy with the cost. I originally called with my room sizes and was quoted a price of $1300. I later had to cancel half the job. When I called to get the final cost after the job was done I was told it would be $1600. When I questioned this and gave the room sizes that were actually done I was told that was $1300. So I after arguing a bit I paid the original quote for half the original job. I won't be using your services for the other half.
