Services
A capacitive, presence sensing device designed for machine guarding and personnel safety applications. Features microprocessor-based electronics, automatic tuning and sensitivity adjustments, continuous self-check circuitry, warning output, enhanced relay protection (includes welded contact detection), and ability to handle up to 150 linear feet of antenna.
Our proven non-contact sensing method provides smooth, stress-free control of conductive materials, even fine wire and delicate stamped parts. Non-Contact detection of loop position: Delicate materials or parts can be sensed without the possibility of damage or deformation. Teach-In Tuning: Automatic sensitivity adjustment enabling faster set-up times and less downtime.
Our Ring Sensors are designed to detect metals as they pass through the ring, or at an axial distance equivalent to the radius of the ring. Our ring sensors are inductive, eddy current type devices. An internal signal generator produces a sensing field around the ring, and any metal which enters the field will have eddy currents produced within it.
A capacitive device designed to initiate control operations when a metal antenna is touched. Antenna size and shape are determined by the application; an antenna may be up to 200 feet long or have an area of 15 square feet. Adequate sensitivity is provided to insure operation if the antenna is covered with paint, oil, or dirt or if thin gloves are worn.
All these Gordon Engineering Corp. Products (i.e., DM3000 Brake Monitor, PC1000 Proxagard, PC200 Touch Switch and the RC4000 Series Reel Controls) will be repaired or replaced, for five years from the date of purchase, if they fail to perform to published specifications.

Ring Sensors (i.e., PE606 Ring Sensors and PE706 Ring Sensors) will be repaired or replaced, for the life of your application, if they fail to perform to published specifications.For all warranties: The product must be used in accordance with the specified manufacturer's ratings and must not be physically abused.
