I've been going to Community Auto Repair for over 11 years now. And I've been going there with the same 2 vehicles, thanks to CAR keeping them in good shape! Finding parts for oldies can be an issue; they've had to be creative at times. I like when a mechanic keeps an eye out during routine stuff (like oil changes) for other problems that might be starting-- before they become a hazard or major repair.

I've had an issue with my truck that multiple mechanics and a dealership couldn't solve. I finally left it with Luis and his guys and let them dig around. They came back with a few ideas and were honest that they should fix it, but it could not work too. I had them dig around more and narrow it down and the one they were most confident in worked (needed my computer reprogrammed). It wasn't cheap, I think there shop rate is high don't get me wrong, but when the problem gets fixed and your vehicle works great again how much is that worth? Cheap Mechanics aren't good and Good Mechanics aren't cheap

Claimed to have instilled 80k mile spark plugs in my Ford F-150 come to find they were 2 year cheap autolight spark plugs.
Shady business and completely ripped me off. Money that could be going to my tuition went to a shady business man.
Avoid at all costs.

Nick and Luis were fantastic!!! My alternator went out on my home from a trip in Canada. Not only did Nick find a replacement part for me, they got my vehicle fixed and I was headed home in less than 3 hours. They were professional and very helpful.
