Just as you use a pediatrician to care for child's medical needs, a pediatric dentist is a specially trained dentist in the unique art of treating children's dental needs. The staff at Chillicothe Pediatric Dentistry cater to children daily, navigating them through the process of receiving care, and teaching them that going to the dentist is nothing to fear.
We at Chillicothe Pediatric Dentistry have extensive experience in the care of the child patient, and we pride ourselves in providing the best dental care for children in Ross County and its surrounding areas.

Services
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child first see a dentist at age 6 months but no later than one year. Our team has had extensive training in behavior management and the management of children with complex medical needs. We understand that each child has unique needs- and we will take the time to listen and understand those needs.
If you are looking for a highly trained and experienced pediatric dentist in Chillicothe, you have come to the right place. At our practice, you will receive the highest quality dental treatment. Dr. Griffin, a knowledgeable, caring dentist with exceptional skills and a gentle touch, will address all of your child's concerns and explain treatment options.
No one can argue that a perfectly fitted athletic mouthguard is an important piece of protective equipment. Many youth sports mandate mouthguards, deeming them just as important as face shields, eye protection, pads, and helmets. The problem is that many kids just don't like wearing them for more than a few reasons.
Your child's 20 baby teeth will begin to appear usually between six and nine months, though in some cases it may start as early as three months or as late as twelve months. The two lower front teeth tend to erupt first, followed by the two upper ones. The first molars come in next, followed by the canines (eyeteeth).
A child's first dental visit can be very exciting, very scary, or both! At Chillicothe Pediatric Dentistry, we strive to make your child as comfortable as we can with our office amenities and playful demeanor. We provide you with the patience and time you need for your child's first visit (whether it's the first time ever or simply new to our office), including ample time to ask all your questions.

WHAT THE H! DOES someone have to do to find a knowledgeable, ABLE and friendly dentist (OR dr for that matter....) and staff IN America today! EVERY one I've looked over has a majority of bad reviews and next to none take the time to help parents etc to feel confident in putting the lives and their children and loved ones health in their hands! THIS MUST BE CORRECTED! AND NOW!

My son had to have sedative dental work done and it went better than my husband and I imagined. They were running a little behind but we kept my son distracted with games. The process was super smooth and Dr. Griffin was fantastic. I loved that my son got to meet his nurse and Anesthesiologist before his procedure. We got to stay with him until he was asleep and they waited to start his IV till after he was asleep from the laughing gas. The door was left open the entire time except when they were doing X-rays so it was reassuring to be able to hear the monitor to know everything was going smoothly

After getting the runaround from two other pediatric dentists regarding my 6-year-old's need for crowns (and traumatic experiences at both of those places), Dr. Griffin saved the day! He was honest about what needed to be done, practical about the available options, and DID NOT TRY TO GIVE ME A SALES PITCH. When we brought her in for the fillings, he was efficient and he worked seamlessly with his technician. He was firm with my daughter when she got squirmy, but was not unkind. He understands how to set effective limits with children, which is something my child definitely responds well to. He

I had a great first experience with Chillicothe Pediatric Dentistry today. The office is very clean and the staff friendly, prompt, and courteous. My 7 year old walked in a bit nervous but left looking forward to his next visit. Dr. Griffin and his staff put my son at ease and explained everything to him step by step. From start to finish we received excellent care. All my questions were answered and we weren't rushed at all.

WARNING, DO NOT TAKE KIDS HERE!!!
My son was there to get a filling. The whole time my son was trying to tell them he felt pain. The dentist told him that he can't work on his mouth if he keeps talking. Then, continue to work on my son's mouth. All the while my son was saying that hurts. The dentist kept telling them the hush. By the end of it he realized, the dentist, didn't put on laughing gas.
