Services
Dr. Jennifer Boatright grew up on a farm in Southwest Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Upon graduation she moved to Sedalia with her husband to his family farm and joined the Thompson Hills Animal Clinic staff.
Payment is required at the time services are rendered. We accept major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept cash. Pet insurance is also a viable option for many pet owners, helping them pay the cost of unexpected veterinary care. There are a variety of pet insurance companies and plans, so feel free to contact us today if you need any guidance.

I’ve been one other place in town, but Thompson Hills has been the best to my animals. The facility is clean, some of the exam rooms have a window (my cats like those rooms), the staff are friendly and good with both the animals and the people, no one is pushy about expensive procedures, if they suggest something for your animal they really do leave it to you to make the choice and they will provide you with all of the information you need in order to make an informed decision. I will try to put into words how we feel about Thompson Hills Animal Clinic. We are new to the area and had no vet. We tried a few and were less than pleased. After going to my Facebook friends in the community I was referred to Thompson Hills Animal Clinic by MANY PEOPLE. They are 45 minutes from us but our pets are well worth the time and effort. Lulu came in with chronic bowel problems that no other vet could pinpoint. Dr Chad McNeil took the time needed to really think about what the game plan should be and BAM! IT'S WORKING. Very kind, thanks to all the staff. When we need it most they are here for our pets, which we love them as if they were our children. My cat Sammy suffered an accident, he was bleeding and he could not use his left paw, he was treated in an emergency, they gave him antibiotics and pain medicine. However he will need more treatment maybe surgery. But the first care was given here. Thank you ❤️ Dr Chad McNeal

Took both my Aussie pups to Thompson Hills.
At the first visit they had a receptionist who really didn't know a whole lot, I think she may have been new... but went back for updates on vaccines this year (2021) and the current receptionist was / is VERY knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all my questions without hesitation (and I ask a lot of questions).
Care for my pups was detailed and informative. They are a bit more pricey than other places but it was worth it for me.
They send email reminders and mailers to help keep you current.

My little Maisey Grace was perfectly comfortable laying on the exam table waiting for Dr McNeil, who has a gentle way of handling cats that seems to leave Grace at ease. He is also very thorough in his exam and never hesitates to answer any questions an owner might have.

Went there today for my cat’s annual shots. Our experiences have always been great. Dr. Chad and Dr. Jessica have always been helpful to our cat and 2 dogs. I will never forget when we had to call them at 2 am because our dog was acting weird and 15 minutes later they called us back. Their prices are very reasonable in my opinion. Thank you for understanding how crazy my dogs are whenever I take them to your clinic. I also like their online appointment system, it’s easier to navigate and very convenient for us. Bo, Meeko and Abigail are grateful!
