San Cayetano Veterinary Hospital was built in 2003 by Dr. Daniel Horton. Prior to that, Dr. Horton operated San Cayetano Veterinary Services as a house call practice that began serving the communities of Rio Rico, Nogales, Tumacacori, Carmen, Tubac, and Amado in 1995. Animals have become increasingly important in our lives.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately! We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Our emergency team consists of the veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life.
In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care. Payment in full is expected at the time of your pet's discharge. A deposit may be required in advance for some services, including emergency care. Estimates will be provided for all services. We accept pet insurance from most providers and actively encourage pet owners to insure their pets. Ask us for insurance information and recommendations.
