Advance is a complete business solutions provider serving the greater Baltimore area, Annapolis, Frederick, and their surrounding counties-Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Cecil, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Queen Anne's and Washington. Locally owned and operated, we have offices and showrooms conveniently located in Cockeysville, Frederick, Annapolis and the Ravens' M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
After a two year stint in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Alan I. Elkin graduated with a degree in business from the University of Colorado. Alan worked as a sales representative with the Burroughs Business Machine Company upon graduation and with the 3M Company from 1956 to 1960, selling copying equipment.

We're 100% Advance in every department of our company. That includes the leasing business. When you sign on with Advance, you deal completely with us, no third parties. So when you decide on your document management system, copier, or multifunctional printer, you can finance through Advance.

Having our own leasing arm allows us greater flexibility with our customers and allows them to keep one point of contact throughout their entire relationship with Advance, from service and supplies, to sales and leasing.

Wish I didn’t have to leave a negative comment but I have a contract with advance for a copier. We got an error message while trying to scan and email a document. When I called IT to ask what that meant I was told I would be charged $16 a minute for IT services. Seems like a quick fix but not worth $16 a minute. CalledSavin the copier company they told me for free

The sales team is awful. They are like a car dealership or time share presentation. If you don't sign, they start bouncing you around and involving multiple managers to try to finagle you to sign with them.
I may or may not sign with them again but it certainly will have nothing to do with their sales people.

I started here 3 months ago coming from a large copier manufacturer and it has been a night & day great experience! Advance has an in house dispatch team, onsite parts & warehouse, makes it so much easier to be closer to support the customer. I really enjoy the family atmosphere, a being around happy fun people. Lots of opportunity for growth too....also corporate membership to the Baltimore Maryland Zoo & National Aquarium are free! :-)
