This place lays in the veggies as the main base of the dishes. Totally surprising if you're expecting "American Chinese Food". It has a healthy vibe and don't expect the class almost burnt charr of the normal wok user. More al dente, nice and fresh, just so cooked. You're gonna feel great after eating.

I've been searching for some killer chinese food and they're the best in the area! Very friendly and prices are not unreasonable for how tasty the food is. They really take umami seriously. Would choose over Bamboo Wok any day!

First off let me say: Chinese food has always been about big, bold flavors. Sweet, sour, a good kick of spice. These are the things that make truly good Chinese cooking.
Now let me say this: I experienced none of these things for dinner tonight. What I received was bland, mediocre, and absolutely uninspired. While the food looked very good, all of it was under seasoned, bland, and tasted of sweet nothing.
I ordered our usual family order:
Two General Tsos dinner specials
Two orders of dumplings
A wonton soup and an egg drop soup
Egg rolls
It all lacked flavor. The General Tsos was sweet

I got the bourbon chicken, which is kinda my staple chinese dish i like to order from a chinese place ive never been to before, and this one is really bad. Pork fried rice, excellent, 5/5. Pork roll, excellent, 5/5, bourbon chicken, 0/5 honestly. the chicken was beyond overcooked and tasted like it may have been deep fried and left out to make jerky from, the sauce was almost non existent, and what little sauce there was tasted almost watered down it was so lackluster. so I am leaving 3/5 and will try them again later, maybe something other than bourbon chicken next time though.

Absolutely our favorite local Chinese take-out! Very much like what we were used to in NYC.
They're also very very good at making sure that my daughter's food allergies are carefully addressed!
I love the General Tso's wontons. Everything else, too, but I always make sure to add those to our order. Good quality meats. Very nice people behind the counter.

Its our first time ordering food from this place and one of the order was the general tsos chicken. It tastes good but it has more batter than chicken. Hardly any chicken inside. It was hard too.
Update: I called the place back and they were kind enough to offer me another order of food.

The staff were super kind and patient even in a busy dinner rush. The general tso's chicken was absolutely amazing, it was a little firm but thats it, tasted great and the portion size was good. Would definitely recommend if you are into Chinese cuisine and all the other items on the menus also looked great and I will definitely pick up food here again

The flavor and portion sizes were really great! My only complaint would be the amount of celery used in the Kung Pao chicken was...aggressive. But it was delicious. I normally have to add spices to make it hotter and this was decently spiced. Very quick service too!

Had opportunity for takeout from China Gourmet during a recent vacation to Florida. The dinner consisted of General Tso’s Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Both dishes were absolutely superb. All ingredients used were fresh and prepared perfectly. China Gourmet’s take on these dishes are among the BEST that we have ever had. Treat yourself and have the fried rice - it goes above and beyond your average fried rice. We were so happy with this experience that we will very likely be having them again when we return in the fall. Thank you, China Gourmet, for a splendid meal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️�

Me and the wife ordered the beef and brocolli (small) and the shrimp fried rice and fried wings with ragoons. The ragoons was duh-mazing and the sauce complimented it well. The beef n brocolli was the best I ever had (ate a lot of it) but was great for the price. The wings and rice was great as well. Overall great customer service , clean restaurant, and portions match the prices.
