Are you planning a vacation? Need to go out of town on business? Are you concerned that you won't be able to find someone trustworthy to care for your pet while you're away? If you need to travel and can't take your pet along, why not plan to have your best friend stay with us? Traveling can cause enough stress and anxiety - you don't want to worry about whether your pet is being well cared for.
Does your best friend have bad breath? Despite what many pet owners may believe, "dog breath" is not just a nuisance - it's a sign of an unhealthy mouth. Bad breath is caused by bacteria. Over time, bacteria lead to plaque and tartar buildup on your pet's teeth. The result is bad breath, reddened gums, and other common signs of dental disease.
When considering options for purchasing medication, pet owners have many choices, including online pharmacies and mail-order catalogs. But where can you truly get the best value for your money? Who can offer you the most reliable and personalized service? Who has the most complete medical information on your pets, and the ability to anticipate drug interactions or other problems that can result from inappropriately administering medication?

Compassion, Responsive & SO Caring. We were at our beach house this past weekend and our 16 year old dog - Lucy unfortunately took a turn for the worse. I knew in my heart I needed to make the decision I didn't want to face. Lucy has never been treated by North Fork Animal Hospital but they were really my only hope. Being a Saturday, they were booked solid BUT Allison & Dr. D'Amato told me to come when we were ready and to call when we were in the parking lot. They treated us with soo much compassion and care from the moment we entered the compassion room. I can not thank them enough for making

Dr Pisciotta is so wonderful. I was recommended him for my pet dove by my aunt, who also had birds. Every time I needed an appointment, they were so accommodating, and Dr. P was so kind, patient, and conservative with his treatment. I felt like he really cared. Ideally I would have loved for my vet to be nearby, but the 45min drive was worth it for the care I felt like they provided for me & my bird. I just had to put my bird down this past weekend, and the staff were so gracious. If you have pet birds, I highly recommend them.
