Services
Tylor and Claudia purchased Beckett Tax in the fall of 2018 from their relative Duane Beckett. Duane started the business in 2002. Claudia, the Office Manager, has worked for Beckett tax since taking ownership. You will find her primarily at the front desk fielding phone calls and performing other managerial duties.

I miss Duane Beckett. He was the reason I used Beckett Tax for filing my taxes for the last 8 years. This is not the same company. His nephew took it over, now no one answers the phones EVER. It's impersonal and you will not feel like a valued customer. I actually went to the office just so I could make an appointment because no one returns calls. The office was remodeled, tons of young 20 something staff hanging out. So why couldn't they call back or even answer the phone?

I have worked with Tonya to file my tax returns for the past two years and she has been amazing! She makes the process so easy - even after getting married this year and having 5 W2s on top of some 1099s, our appointment was less than half an hour because she put so much work in with everything in advance of the appointment. Their prices are also extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

Duane and his team are amazing. They get five stars here, but in reality it's more like 10 stars.
I have a complicated tax preparation that takes awhile to figure out. I found out that my previous preparer, for many years, was doing it wrong when I received a letter from the wi dept of revenue and had 30 days to appeal the issue.
I found Duane through word of mouth and approached him for help during the 30 day window to appeal. He knew exactly what went wrong on my previous returns, dealt with the appeal, and communicated with me every step of the way. What Duane said he was going

As a new independent contractor (working remotely for a company in Canada), I was a bit overwhelmed in figuring out my quarterly estimated taxes. I was ready to come in for an appointment and sit down to talk things through as a new client, but Duane returned my call and spent the next twenty minutes on the phone assuring me it wasn't as complicated as I thought, how to figure my estimates, and how to make the payment itself. He communicated very clearly and was focused solely on our conversation and listened to all of my concerns. I would do business with him in a heartbeat.

I came here once and they an ok job on my taxes. I then found out later they had a handful of misses. I have now moved on to a different accountant. They are better than the usual chain of accountants but getting more personal service is a much better solution and finding your own independant accountant who can treat you like a person and not just a number.

I can't say enough good things about Beckett Tax; Heidi was remarkable; she gave us service and results which were unbelievable. We went in to file for 2 years and were so impressed I let her file an amended return from a previous 3rd year. I was worried I'd have to pay in but I'm now expecting more money back than I ever thought possible. I am already looking forward to next year. Thank you Heidi.

Fives are hard to get, and it's usually because we all have room to improve. I just started using Beckett Tax this year, first for my own taxes, and then two weeks later I came back and had the final taxes filed for my mother who passed this last year, and to consult on the estate taxes.
Tonya did my and my wife's personal taxes, she was awesome. We were a little complicated due to some inheritance from out of state, and she had me out of there in under 40 minutes, asked a lot of great questions, gave me some really helpful advice about a better way to donate items to places like

Duane and the staff at Beckett Tax either know the answers or they find them. I've had some complex situations that they easily worked through. Superb service and super friendly.

Duane has done our personal taxes for several years and we couldn't have been more pleased. This year, however, he really helped saved my small business from a storm of self-inflicted IRS issues. You couldn't find a more knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate advocate than Duane. Plus, very reasonable rates! :)
