Services
If you are not feeling well, have a fever, or have traveled outside of the country in the last 14 days, please reschedule your appointment (at least 14 days out). All clients and staff inside the building are required to wear a mask (covering both your mouth and nose). AT THIS TIME this also applies to vaccinated clients.
Most illnesses requiring medical care are diagnosed via a thorough physical exam and lab work. We have in-house capabilities for basic lab tests, including pre-anesthetic screening, and an outside lab that provides results for most tests within 24 hours. We perform and interpret digital radiographs the same day as your visit.
Did you know that dental disease, the most common disease of dogs and cats over 3 years old, is more than a cosmetic issue; it can be painful, affect the animal's behavior and appetite, and has been linked to diseases of the heart and kidneys? We provide dental cleanings under general anesthesia, with pre-anesthetic blood work, extra supplemental heat, and IV fluids to make the procedure as safe as possible for all of our dental patients.
We offer surgical appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays. We provide routine surgical care including canine and feline spays/neuters, livestock castrations, growth removals, and other soft tissue surgery based on diagnostics and severity. If a procedure is outside of our qualifications, we will refer you to the appropriate surgeon.
We strive to promote health through annual physicals, routine vaccinations, monthly deworming and heartworm prevention, and proper flea and tick control. We do our best to make sure clients are well informed of the latest and best options in the daily care of their pets. We carry Science Diet, Purina, and Royal Canin prescription diets.
