Here at Functional Health we believe that medications are necessary on occasion to handle acute syndromes but are not a solution for long term health management. Just as every action has a reaction, every bad health choice will manifest itself at some point in the future. For patients who have little or no chiropractic, physical therapy, or acupuncture insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged.
All new patients are requested to fill out the new patient paperwork as completely as possible. Beginning by conducting a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) or Functional Movement Screens (FMS) our doctors at Functional Health are able to perform spinal and extremity adjustments to ensure that you maintain the vital connection in your body that allows all your systems to work in cohesive collaboration.

I’m am so happy that my wife talked me into going to Function Health. I had a bunch on nagging injuries that I just learned to live with (specifically my feet). Dr. Chris and Dr. Ahmed did an assessment on me and determined that there was nothing wrong with my feet. They determined that problems existed in my hips and quads. They were able to rehabilitate me through physical therapy with Kyle and and deep tissue massages with Zobe. They have taught me to love and appreciate a foam roller and have helped me build strength allowing my body to function as it was designed. It was a long process but

Originally found this place by looking at all the good reviews. I have had nothing but good experiences here and recommend to anyone looking for a chiropractor. Most chiropractors are old school and don’t offer much. I love that they not only focus on your pain but also your lifestyle. If you need guidance in becoming pain free and healthy I highly recommend coming here. I have struggled with my weight and stomach issues for a while now and other doctors weren’t interested in my health. Dr Chris takes his time and really shows interest in helping his patients. I walked into the Functional Health facility in Somerville approximately twelve weeks ago feeling crippled after teaching second graders online for one year.
I have to thank Dr. Chris, Dr. Ahmed, Kyle and Zoe for their medical and professional advice and customized rehabilitation treatment. I never thought I could feel this strong again.
Now that I am feeling better physically and emotionally, I am excited to start the 8 Weeks to Wellness program offered at Functional Health.

Every doctor and staff from Functional Health is absolutely professional, informative, and helpful. The doctors and PT show interest in seeing improvements and are very attentive. I’ve been to so many chiropractic clinics, but none can compare to Dr.Chris and his team. The ladies at the front desk are lovely as well. I’m so glad them.

Functional Health is a great office to help you jump into a wellness routine. Dr. Chris has an entire team of outstanding professionals that would guide you as a whole. You can get adjusted, get physical therapy, see the massage therapist or the personal trainer. They have it all!!! If you are looking for a place to start a new you, must make an appointment at Functional Health. My entire family goes there. I would not trust anyone else with our health.

Dr. Ron always help me when I hurt my low back. He is a nice doctor and has patience with my difficulty in speak English. After the appointment I feel much better and strechted. It is easy to make appointment e always I receive the confirmation about my appointment. The office is clean and comfortable. I really recommend it.

Love the staff at Functional Health! Dr. Chris Dr. Ahmed and the rest of the team are amazing! I love the being able to text the office staff for appts, I am super busy and love that I never have to wait in the office. I get taken in right on time for my appts and they are very timely! Have been going to them for over 2 years and absolutely love them! Highly recommend functional health!
